pretty solid receiver

Good receiver, plent of power for my application. Love the 2nd subwoofer addition. 4 stars because the auto speaker setup wouldnt word for me, microphone couldnt locate front speakers so i had to adjust sound manually. Ipod screen is plain text, kinda bland and no wifi. But i think i only paid $175 for it, so i cant ask for all the bells and whistles. Overall good for the money.

Not all the features I would like, but the price was right. As fast as the technolgy changes, it is really not practical to get the biggest bundle each time, because , like I say , technology seems to be changing every six months.

I have had many problems with this unit. It has been sent to Lorado Tx when it can back it was working . I put in a DVD last night an d it didn't work Called Sony and she told me to change HDMI cable and it worked . This morning it .didn't wor The unit is flawed

Not Pleased with Receiver

Upgraded to the to receiver to be HDMI Ready. Did tone test all surround speakers working but doing setup test said can't find front speakers. Tried serveral times same error code 33.
The manual so complicated and jumping all over the manual from page to pages you lose the message of what you were trying to understand. Talking of thing I have no idea what Sony is saying.
I just want it to work and not spend hours trying to get it to work. Still nto right and sound is disgusting...Again test tone works on all speakers...Why the error code 33, saying can't find front speakers. Just disgusted with the unit!! Not happy with the purchase...Don't want to spend hours on a phone...want it to just WORK Right!!!!

Not worth the cheap price

Purchased this receiver as a spare while my main was being repaired. It didnt have features I expected it to and performance was not good. Returned it the same day.
