[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I regret not writing a review when I purchased this two years ago.I have had several different ranges over the years including gas and electric, brand name and no-name, and at least five in rental apartments. I updated all my appliances and, partly due to the fact my mother was a big KitchenAid fan in the past and the brand's overall reputation, I purchased this model. Without exaggeration, I can say this is the WORST oven I have ever used. It has routinely disappointed. The burners take 20 minutes to boil water; basically everything you read in the negative reviews is true. I can't afford to replace it. I've essentially stopped cooking as much due to the poor performance of this range! Additionally, the microwave is worse than my Sharp countertop I had in college.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great, but that's about it. The flames dance and takes 20+ minutes to boil two cups of water. Very hard to clean. Just a huge disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We opted for this slide in range to replace a 13 year old different manufacturer model that began to leak gas from everywhere. My wife did research and found this KitchenAid to be what she wanted. It is a nice unit, however for myself I have found the touch controls to be too sensitive due to their location in the front rather than on top. Controls on the panel can be accidentally turned on or off by simply "brushing" into them - such as when reaching for something on a back burner and leaning into the front panel just a bit. It also makes a bit more noise than our older range, nothing horrible, but you can hear the oven burners igniting and heat expansion noises from even a good distance away. Not a big deal but something you have to get used to. (They even discuss noises in the owner's manual) I have also read reviews were the control panel burns out during a self cleaning cycle, haven't experienced this yet and hope that issue was addressed by KitchenAid. I do like the large grates, turbo burner, and its overall performance. The control touch panel is nice, easy to read, but again for my preferences I would have like it mounted more to the top rather than the front.
Pros: Convenient Features, easy to use, turbo burner, large grates, Performance, Design
Cons: control panel location

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way this looks built-in to my island even though it is a free-standing range. Since I wok often, the flip over grate is great. And the super burner is a great match-up for the wok. Even though I was skeptical on having gas in the oven, it has worked really well and the controls are clear and easy to use.
I don't like how hard it is to clean the black shiny stove top. Next time I would get one with a more sealed burner system. The other issue is it is almost impossible to be near the range with making the front panel beep. It was almost intolerable until I learned how to lock it. Now I can live with it. I also think they needed to put more power in the other burners. There is no reason not to have bigger burners all around. I have certainly needed them.
All told, I would recommend this range with the cautions I mentioned.
Pros: Design, Innovative, Performance, Convenient Features, triple burner, wok feature, easy to use, Heavy cast iron grates
Cons: the front panel is too easy to rub against., cleaning stove top is too difficult.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove last spring and have enjoyed cooking with it. The heat control is nothing like an electric stove. It give you exactly what you want in order to achieve the results you want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We thoroughly love our new kitchen aid gas range. We recently had gas installed and changed from an electric range. We now have exact control of our heat on the burners and the oven.
