Faulty cartridge

Formerly, HP 17 was a "unique" cartridge (as ALL of HP cartridges appear to be). That is, it could not be used in place of any other cartridge. Now, HP 17 appears to be able to replace HP 23 as well as HP 41. The engineering required to produce such a cartridge has, at least for me, resulted in an HP 17 that caused my printer to malfunction. I discussed this situation with an HP representative and was mailed a new HP 17 that is functioning just fine. However, I will be very wary in the future of HP products with "expanded" functions.

Bad Product

After replacing the HP 17 Tricolor Ink Cartridge my printer will not print the color yellow. I used the printer services to clean, prime and align the cartridge. All other colors are fine. I don't recommend this product.

Why no twin pack available?

Quality printing ink cartridge - Use it with my HP deskject 845C printer that I have had for years. Just wish it was not so expensive and that it came in a twin pack. Excellent colors on printed pictures and cards that I make for family and friends cards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried other ink cartridges from other venders that were recycles etc. and they were junk and didn’t print well at all. I’ll stick to the HP brand. It may cost a bit more but well worth it in the long run. I get quality when I stick with HP.
