This thing eats ink!

We use our printer occasionally- maybe once every couple of weeks. Yet somehow every time we go to print, one of the cartridges needs to be replaced- mostly the magenta and black. Ink is crazy expensive, and it's pretty inconvenient that this printer doesn't seem to have an ink-saving mode.
Annoyed that we got rid of our old printer for this hunk that's never working when we need it to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best one yet

Had problems with the other leading brand. Ink cartage's install easy,prints great. This is our upstairs wireless printer. My office printer is also a Epson 785EPX, still working great after 11 years.
Printer has lots of features and is a good value for your money. Prints fast, no waiting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had purchased a printer/scanner last year.Was very pleased with the ease of setting it up and it's use.Since then I have needed the use of a fax as well.So I went right back and bought an Epson WF-2660.Again, No problem setting it up and using it. Being 60 years old and a little slow with some of this new technology I only had to have my 24 year old daughter help me a little with sending my first fax. Outstanding product and I would recommend Epson to anyone.

Not up to my standards

I purchased this printer because it looked like it could perform. It does not. I need to print brochures for my business. I put in FOUR new cartridges this morning. I had to clean the print heads about 8 times before getting a decent copy. The brochures are all black print with two small pictures (less than 1/3 of the print material). i am out of ink after printing 60 copies! The black was XL rated for up to 500 sheets the other colors are 165 sheets. Really - I only needed 90 sheets! I'm ready to chuck this printer and find another one!

Worst installation experience in my life. The instruction manual is extremely vague and prompts are negligible.
Please gets someone who knows how to write an instruction manual to do this next time.

Wifi

I use iPhone and iPads as does my wife. Both the 2660 and the 410 will not print on wifi. They are not seen as AirPrint capable. The setup for wifi is too convoluted. Needs to be more straight forward and most of all needs to work. I will use them only on usb cables so I got some use from them.

Cleaning heads

After I purchased the printer and installed it, it informed the heads needed cleaning. I cleaned the heads six times and it ate up print cartridges very much. I had to purchase another set of cartridges. After cleaning two more times it finally worked. Why should I have to use so much ink to get it to work? I would hope you would send me a new set, since the second set is almost empty after printing only about twenty pages, mostly in black and white. Hope you can help.
