Great all round printer; double sided scanning and Wifi capabilities were why I purchased this printer. Store staff were very knowledgeable and helped me find the most suitable printer for my needs.

Scanning from my laptop

It seems to be ok as a printer. Scanning to and from my laptop seems to be very hard to figure out. I had it working at one stage and then for some reason now when pressing the scan button on the printer it says it cannot find any computers, then the only other option is to use a usb. The reason I purchased this is because my last printer was so user unfriendly saying it was wi-fi yet I was back and forth to my printer all the time. It seems I am having the same problem where I have to go back to my laptop and confirm the scan before it will scan then back to the printer to complete the scan. Its irritating.

We purchased this Epson printer at the end of Dec 2015. It has failed to print, scan or operate properly in the last 2 months. Today, 19.05 I have taken it back and I have received a new printer. Identical. We also took out a 12 months extended warranty. I hope I will not need it and that we do not have further issues with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The instructions to set up the printer can only be described as DEPLORABLE in its lack of information when reading the enclosed printed instructions. There was no USB cord supplied and, luckily, I kept my cord/cable from my previous Epson printer which had to be returned under warranty due to operational failure.I had to contact Epson to get some assistance to set up, and then more assistance from a friend who has more experience in computers/printers than I have, as I will turn 76 at the end of the year.I will NOT be recommending your product to anyone due to the above!!!!!!!!!!!
