I purchased this unit about 3 months ago after doing extensive research (reading the good, bad & ugly) on under cabinet and free standing units. I did purchase the extended warranty, waiting for that year to come & go....then we'll see the longevity

I have had it for one week and it works well. For the price it should have a digital temperature gauge. Finish is good.

Better Replacement

I had another wine fridge that only lasted 6 years. I looked around for a replacement because I wasn't going to buy the same unit again because the old one should have lasted longer and also it never kept my beer and soda cold enough. Glad to report that this unit does get colder. The only negative is that it doesn't have adjustable shelves to hold bottle beer - otherwise it works great. I do hope this one lasts longer than 6 years - time will tell
