does not have the features I would expect

The size is good but I would expect at this price point that there would be electronic controls. we cant seem to get the fridge cold enough for drinks and its turned all the way up.

The perfect size for a mini-bar!

We recently re-modeled our kitchen and replaced the planning desk area with a small bar. This was the best, most versatile beverage refrigerator we could find and we love it - there are two wine racks that hold wine, champagne, and over-sized beer bottles. The shelves are adjustable - we pulled one out altogether and have a "short" space on top for small bottles and cans and a larger space in the middle that allows for storage of a full-sized bottle of Bailey's (as an example). We couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Well made but flawed design

We put this beverage center under our home wet bar a couple weeks ago and have been very happy with it...up to a point. First the good stuff. It's very quiet, a key feature for us. It's well made, looks good and works fine. It also gets truly cold, something many competing units won't do. Did I mention that it's quiet? Amazingly so.
Now the not so good stuff. The non-adjustable molded-in shelves are big let down for a unit of this quality. Very frustrating when trying to fit larger bottles in. As it is, you can only remove shelves to adjust for height. Also, the shelves don't really pull out. Adjustable pull-out shelves would boost my rating another star. This feature, or lack of it, is important enough that I'm actually thinking of ways to make my own adjustable pull-out shelves for it.
One last gripe...the wood panels on the front of the wine racks are unfinished and are mounted in their plastic wrappers, one of which has a warning label that your dirty hands will stain the wood. C'mon GE, you can do better than that. Mine are now plastic free and finished, but this isn't something I expected to do.
So that's it...a great little fridge with an Achilles heel. Most sell well below MSRP and are a good value.

Attractive and chills drinks well

I bought 2 of this model to replace 2 much cheaper brands that died after 2 years. So far, the GE model is great in that it chills drinks very well and runs very quietly. Cost of the model seems to me to be a little on the high side but I had to have replacements and did not want to be stuck with another cheaper brand dying again in 2 years. The units are quite attractive but I would recommend to GE to use black walls inside the units.

Unfortunately this refrigerator has been disappointing in the area of cooling. The thermostat range is minimal and it does not keep the refrigerator cool / cold .

GE Profile issues

I bought this three months ago.. Only issue is the way the racks stack. It is fine for can drinks but with bottled beer, bottle Gatorade, bottle water size bottles you need to stack and lay on their sides. Ever thing else is fine.
