This camera is so easy to use and with 10MP its the best. I love how it has everything on the camera like red eye remover. I was going to buy a 10.1 MG camera but it was double the price. It is very easy to use.

While the larger viewing screen is great for indoor viewing, the lack of a physical view box to use outdoors in bright sunlight is a definite disadvantage. Otherwise the features are excellent.

Ok, since having the camera a little longer I just had to update my review to give this camera all of his accolades!!
One of my complaints and rationale for intiially rating this camera a 4 out of 5 was because of the lack of a usb connection on the camera itself. Well I needed to buy a new SD card for it and found a SanDisk card with a usb built in--this is even better so I can just pop the SD into any computer and download my pictures even without the camera!! So I guess part of what makes this camera better is the capabilities of the SD card now available. My pictures continue to come out absoutley fabulous and I'm learnig more on how to use the features of the camera. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a good digital camera right now!

This first time I took my new camera to a party to take pictures, everyone was amazed at the size of the screen. I can tell if a pictures is good immediately because of the screen size. Old people, old eyes.
I take lots of pictures of children which always causes a lot of red eye. I have the camera set to fix red eye immediately. This saves work either on the computer or through my HP Photosmart printer.
I've never met an HP product I didn't like and this is no exception.

I am in love with this camera. I have had two cameras before this one, and this by far, is the best. I found that it's features are very easy to understand and use. It is also very easy to share photos with others. I highly recommend this product, it is worth the money.

A good camera for a non-professional public

This camera is great for people who want to make every day pictures, in family for instance.
I don't recommend it to the people who want to do professional piictures...
I like the many options we have and the very big screen, which is very useful!

TERRIFIC CAMERA!

I haven't owned a camera in years, and was a bit hesitant to jump into the digital age. However, after reading reviews upon reviews, I decided the R967 would be the one. I received it the day before we left for vacation, and learned how to use it on the plane trip. I was quite surprised at how simple it is to operate and amazed at the photos I was taking!
The first two friends I showed my photos to, immediately wrote down the HP information and swore they were going to get one too. Thank you for making a camera that can do so much and isn't that difficult to understand!
I would recommend this to a friend!
