Fantastic camera

This is my 3rd digital camera and I am absolutely thrilled with it.
I find it easy to use, and get excellent photos with it.
My first two cameras had very small screens, but the R967 has a nice size screen, which is very easy on the eyes.
From day one, I loved this camera and loved all the features it has, but now I am taking a course on it and finding even more wonderful things I can do with this camera.

What can I say about this camera?
In few simple words, it is an exellent digital camera. I upgrated my old from 2 to 10 megapixels. Need to mention also that the price of this camera is far low priced comparing to some other brands with less megapixels.

Excellent User Friendly Camera

I am amazed at how easy it is to use this camera. The pictures are always very clear and the battery seems to last forever. It is very easy to connect to my computer and download the pictures, which is time saving for me. Needless to say, I am a big fan of this camera and wouldn't trade it for another.
I would recommend this to a friend!

There are two features that I missed.....
I love the camera. It is beyond what I expected and will use it a lot more than a simpler one that I almost bought. There are some things about the package deal that bothered me a bit. I used my camera to show my photos to my mother in the nursing home.
I will now have to make slide show vcds for everything and use a dvd player.......

No connections for TV which means purchasing a special dock.
The enclosed dock is flimsy; will not be durable enough for my purposes which means purchasing another special dock!
Every thing else is fantastic and the Premier HP program is absolutely fantastic in renewing and editing both old black and whites as well as new photos. I do a lot of scanning and this is a superb program for my purposes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Camera

I own several digital camera but this is my first HP.The Pictures it takes are great and the interface is extremely easy. That being said there are 2 things I dont like about it. I was hoping i would see other reviews with similar compliants but I didnt so maybe its just a technical issue with my camera. The LCD is extremely Grainy making it hard to get a good look at the subject before snapping the picture and after about 10 minutes of use the casing gets extremely hot which has an effect on the quality of the picture itself especially if printing them out. Other then that I do really like the camera and would recommend it to others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second HP camera. I love the 3" display screen and the compact size of this camera. The "slimming" feature is a hoot to use.
I do wish HP had included a compact user manual with the product as they did with their earlier cameras. They include a small quick start manual, but it doesn't cover all of the features. I had to download a PDF file. It is 67 pages 8.5 x 11. Not a size that I can tuck in my camera bag.
The only other negative is that many of the features that I use frequently are only accessable through the menu system. A bit irksome, but I am getting used to it.
Over all, I am very pleased with this camera. Good value for the money.

Can it get any easier?

I have owned and used just about every type of camera imaginable over the past 25 years. I have never seen a camera have so many easy to use features as this one. I charged it, never read a single instruction (not recommended), took some normally difficult to take objects and did not have to take a single one a second time.
I purchased it to take specific items, very detailed pistol grips, close up that have never come out without retaking them in several conditions. Not any more. This camera takes them in full detail without a glitch. And when I do make a mistake, it even lets me know how to improve it. Wow, am I ever pleased.
Suggestion: Do purchase the memory card with it, you will need it if you are like me and like to take high res photos.
