It makes a amatuer struggle to take a bad picture

wish you could recharge the battery with out the base.

I didn't want a camera that was hard to operate and this camera is great@!! I was able to figure out all of the MANY features on this camera within a day. LOVE this camera!!!

This is an awesome camera! It is easy to use and has great features! I can crop and remove red eye right on my camera, LOVE the slimming feature, and super love that I can add borders, change the color, and so much more! It is lightweight and small yet it has a nice large LCD 170 degree viewing screen!
This is the best camera I have ever used and with the design gallery for artistic effects built right in the camera this is an absolutely fabulous camera! I highly recommend it!

Battery Life

I have had my camera about 6 months and the battery will not hold a charge. I can give a full charge and after less than 10 photos I'm getting battery is to weak to take pictures, press ok.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good camera, terrible charging options

The camera itself is terrific - great features, pictures, options, megapixels. However, my complaint is not with the camera itself, but the battery charger. After only having the docking device one month, it stopped working. The problem is you have to plug the camera into a docking station/device instead of being able to plug the chrager directly to the camera. PAIN, PAIN, PAIN!! I would rather have the option to charge the battery by directly plugging in the battery charger to the camera instead of docking device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HP Photosmart R967

I purchased an HP Photosmart R967 Digital Camera in May 2007. I chose this camera because of the 10 MP. I wanted a camera that would take pictures I could enlarge to 8 X 10 and still have a good quality photo. It came with a lot of extra “bells and whistles” that I really didn’t need, but, in order to get the 10 MP, I was willing to pay for all of the extras. Before buying this camera I owned an HP Photosmart 435. I was pleased with this camera; however enlargements didn’t always turn out as well as I hoped. I have now had a little over 4 months of experience and practice with the R967 so I feel qualified to give it a consumer rating. I do not rate this camera very high.
Some of the complaints I have with the R967 include:
The battery icon symbol that is supposed to indicate how much power is left in the battery is very deceiving. It will go dead while showing to be ¾ charged. Having learned this I now charge it before it gets to this point. But in the beginning it caused me to miss a lot of photo opportunities.
Even when the camera is set to Action mode and the red eye exposure is set to off this camera is very slow taking pictures. And a lot of photo opportunities are missed.
Sometimes after taking a picture (I especially notice this while in the zoom position) the camera will take a picture and then I can not take another for a while because I get the message “flash is charging”. This causes a lot of missed photo opportunities.
The R967 takes a lot of fuzzy pictures even when the subject is standing still and the photographer is using a steady hand.
It is my consumer opinion that for the amount of money this camera costs, a much better quality camera could be purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had 3 digital camers, this has been the best, easy to use , great pictures and the videos are great! I look like a pro when I print thes amazing pictures. Highly recommend this camera for the price!
