Just know what you're getting

I have been drinking the Crystal Light Energy because it’s a lot cheaper than Monsters and hardly any sodium. This mix, by itself, tastes horrible. It is packed with caffeine though, so if you hate your heart or need to paint a house in 6 hours, then this stuff will certainly help. WOW…the taste is awful. I have been experimenting with combining and the V8 mixes stamp down the horrible taste of this stuff. Also, I assume that clunky mass that came in the bottle and never broke up to be the Sugar/Stevia + Erythritol mix. Can anyone vouch for that? I read a review that mentioned it so I knew something solid was in this bottle of liquid. Why don’t they just leave this stuff out because it’s apparent it’s not being used unless you take a knife to break it apart like ice block and swallow the chunks with the drink. Because of the caffeine content of this stuff, the bottle will last longer compared to the Crystal Light (assuming you don’t have to build a 2000 sq ft pole barn in one day). I have been only using half of the volume that I normally use of the Crystal Light Energy (because of the caffeine) and mixing it with other flavors. I would buy again, but now know what to expect from the mass in the bottle and the taste.
I just wanted to share my experience with this flavor.

I love Sodastream products and use my Sodastream machine every day. I enjoy most of the flavors, but the EBoost Acai Pomegranate was not that good.

I really like the energy that this gives! The only down side is getting used to the taste. To me, it has a slightly bitter aftertaste but I found that if you add 1/3 to 1/2 cap of something else (like fruit punch Kool-Aid) it really helps, a lot!!

Bitter Aftertaste

I was excited to have a low calorie alternative with near equal caffeine levels as store bought cans, but it has a definite bitter aftertaste. Every sip leaves the bitterness in my mouth...disappointed.

EBOOST Acai Pomegranate. This really gives you some pep. Although I wouldn't drink it after 3:00. I notice there are some that complain about the taste. It was okay, nothing fabulous. However, the beauty of Sodastream is the variety of flavors. I have a fruit punch flavor. I will mix a little of that and it makes the taste more mild. Definitely worth it for the kick it delivers.

I have tried and liked almost every sodastream flavor. THis was the ONLY one I didn't like.All the other flavors are great! This one is very bitter. YUK>
