Sorry, this just doesn't sit well with my taste buds. I know...there are plenty of energy drinks that have an acquired taste, and I'm good with that. However, this one just doesn't sit well with me. I just can't think of a better word to describe it than "bitter."

Based on the previous review, you may just have to try this one yourself to see if you like it or not. I liked that the flavor was more subtle than most energy drinks.

Tasty and no jitters

This doesn't taste like orange soda, but I don't think it's supposed to. It's pretty mild - definitely more drinkable than a 5h Energy - and gives me a little lift without feeling jittery (I can be sensitive to caffeine). No disappointment here - it has replaced my pm coffee.

I love my SodaStream! But the EcoBoost tasted awful. My ratings are only for this particular flavor, not the SodaStream itself.

Nasty aftertaste

I was hoping for an energy drink like my favorite Rip-IT orange, and was disappointed. Luckily it can be fixed by adding a little bit of the standard orange soda syrup to it to boost the flavor and mask the aftertaste. I also found that the "mountian dew" copy flavor also works in it to make it a better flavor.
Sadly I see this going away because it needs to be modified to not taste bad.

Bitter Aftertaste

I was excited to have a low calorie alternative with near equal caffeine levels as store bought cans, but it has a definite bitter aftertaste. Every sip leaves the bitterness in my mouth...disappointed.

I've had my Sodastream for about two years. I love it!! Taste just like regular sodas...even better!! You decide on how much fizz you put in...and how much flavor!! Make it the way you want it!! My favorite is strawberry with extra fizz!! Thanks Sodastream for making a great product!!
