it works as a blu ray and can get you on to netflix

So when I bought this player I thought I was getting a super cool unit. However the problems started almost right away. After it went through its initial setup and updates. I tried to get onto Netflix and it then said I needed a update.... which was weird because it had just gone through all of them. It took forever. And by forever I mean I started it and walked away for ten minutes, came back and still had to wait. The next thing is the built in browser....... horrible thing that is useless without buying a some form of keyboard mouse combo that runs off of one USB port. Oh and by the way after it being open for more then a few minutes it will either pop up a screen saying something about running out of memory in the cache, or just freeze and force you to pull the plug (you have to unplug it cause just turning it off and on will just get you back to the frozen screen). Oh and the whole apps thing? I thought that would be its saving grace but it only uses Samsung's apps. . . Let me put it this way, they aren't the best.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, forced to use samsung's market, samsung's maintenance makes everything not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really reliable product

Have had this unit in steady use for several months now with absolutely no issues. Don't use the 3D capability too much, but it works fine when I do. Plays 2D blu-ray disks flawlessly and upcoverts DVDs without stuttering or pixelating. Stays locked on to the WiFi network for uninterrupted streaming and background software updates. Streaming apps include Amazon Prime. Web browser and alphanumeric keyboard entry are awkward, but no more so than any similar unit without a motion sensitive remote control. All in all, the best BR player I've come across for the cost.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

The Player does everything I was expecting, but the coolest part it the apps, I am using this on my old LCD Tv and I can see all the internet channels I want it...
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: no cons

Best blue ray player. The 3d graphics is out of sight and the setup is easy.

This replaced my first generation Blue Ray player and I am amazed at how quick it is to load a disc. Also the additional features such at Netflix are great.
Pros: Inexpensive

Great clarity, does what it is supposed to. Very easy to use and syncs great with my new Samsung 3DTV. It's a little loud though but only during quiet parts of a movie.

I enjoy the compact unit dimensions. The ease of turning the unit on. Touch buttons, no need to toggle the switches.
