Horrible for streaming videos

Do not buy if you want to stream videos. The screen flashes white every time i try to stream Netflix or Hulu. Firmware is up to date and there is no help from Samsung. RUN AWAY!
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, broken

Worked great until it stopped working

I bought this unit in January, 2014. It is now May 2014, not quite 4 months, and it refuses to recognize ANY discs. Not Blu-Ray, DVD, or CD. Everything I insert gives the message "No disc inserted". I tried the full, hard reset and that did nothing. I expect more than 4 months service out of a Blu-ray player. I am VERY disappointed.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, short lifespan
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture and Features

This is a great Blu-Ray player. Using the BD Wise makes for fantastic picture and sound. It can be slow loading apps sometimes but I find going back to main menu and trying again works fine. Over all I am glad to own this player.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Blu-ray

The best feature for me is the usb port and my 4 Tbyte hard drive and being able to watch movies directly from it or over my network and the picture quality is wonderful Avatar looks awesome.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I am far from being an expert, but even I did not have any problems to connect it to my UN60Es7500 TV.

This is an excellent 3D Blu-ray player for the price. The design is nice. It is small and lightweight. The wireless connection is great. It has a lot of nice features for the money. I have used the 3D feature and it looks awesome.

setup and basic operation is simple and straight forward. The player itself is much better than what I had before. Easy to operate and use, great picture and resolution. The smart TV is simple to use app driven. I really like the system.
