Dont buy this for the wireless internet capabilities.

Great as a Blu-ray player. You can easily play videos and music from dvds, memory sticks, etc.
I bought this particular player because it has wireless internet capabilities, an internal browser, and onboard apps.
First, the wireless is very erratic and it looses connection to my wireless router too often. Other wireless devices in my home don't loose connection.. It has screen mirroring capabilities that constantly get disconnected from my phone and laptop. Because of the erratic internet connections, the apps hardly ever work.
The internet browser is very cumbersome to use with the remote.
I would not purchase this again without a hard wires internet connection, but the browser would still be just a hard to use with the remote.

I have this blue ray player and it has always give the same problem. The Wi-Fi related features are unreliable, the disc functions are good. I told myself that I will never purchase a Samsung product again and I ended purchasing a cellular galaxy grand prime
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The first time I saw AVATAR in 3D with my Blu-Ray player, and my 60" 3D tv, I thought to myself, I'll never go to a movie theater again!!!

I love that I can get Netflix, emails, etc. on my TV. This product serves me well until I can buy a smart TV (Samsung, of course)!
