The player is a bit noisy and the Netflix apps fails to keep itself up-to-date.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality

Love my BluRay

I use my bluray mainly to stream. I love that it connects to my Netflix, Hulu and Amazon accounts. Not having access to good cable and no DVR, I use my BluRay to catch up on TV I have missed plus to stream the excellent series' that Netflix, Hulu and Amazon offer. I'm not techie but this was simple to set up and use. I have a Samsung TV that is not SMART, but it might as well be when I have this SMART BluRay connected. I love it!
The only negatives have more to do with the apps and not the BluRay. The Hulu app is extremely clunky but still usueable. I don't care for the vTuner App either. I just listen online because I have never gotten it to work the way I want it to. The online version is only marginally better.
I'm such a nontechie that I can't even check the box below for Built-In speakers because I don't even know if my BluRay has built in speakers. If it does, they work great. :)
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Turn your TV into a smart TV

This blu ray player works great, It hooks up to your wireless router without an adapter, unlike their earlier models. It can be used with an Ethernet cable, also. It has a decent amount of app's and will play mp3's and show pictures and videos from a USB flash drive.
Pros: reasonable price, small foot print, has a quick start setting
Cons: could have a better browser feature., a keyboard would make it a more complete package.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It obviously delivers a great Blu Ray playback, but it has great apps as well. It's so easy to link other devices. So glad I bought this!

Should work better than it does

My only problem with this device is that it seems to disconnect from wifi for seemingly no reason at all forcing you to restart it
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, unreliable internet connectivity

It worked great for the first year. Loved being able to stream movies through Netflix and Amazon. Then, It wont update, will connect to the Wireless Router, but not the internet.
Save yourself the headache.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
