For the price this is a great blue-ray player. The only issue I have is it takes awhile for the wireless to connect when I turn it on.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: slow connection to wireless

not so smart after all

when i first got this i was happy with it... plays your dvds just fine, and if you only want to watch channels that samsung interfaces with it is good. today i wanted to add Indieflix to the channel lineup and found out that i cannot add a paid channel. roku does better for that... only i can't play dvd's on a roku. not happy. when i tried to add it i got the message that as of a certain date samsung will not allow you to add paid channels. guess i'll get an hdmi splitter so i can operate a roku AND the not so smart dvd player.... and another blankety blank remote!! i've been telling folks how wonderful this smart dvd player is but i'm going to have to eat my words.... bummer SAMSUNG

Cons: only works with samsung apps you cannot add

Awesome player, does all you want & much more. Great pic qualify, can access web browser,, mirror your smartphone or tablets screen, access music/vids from PC with WiFi Direct, load from a u.s. drive, and play around with many oh the installed apps that come with it or that you install from it's app store. Plus, it's capable off 4k resolution, & up converted files having a lesser res. It even allows you to create profiles for user login, with some customizable features you're to personalize to your own specs. Definitely a super DVD player that everyone I've had over to show to ha as left very jealous of.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, feature packed, few others having capabilities has, decent price for what offers

Love the WiFi!!

Have the wireless interaction with your computer and the internet, this makes using the system a great experience. I love streaming video and music via the WiFi from my PC. Awesome system, highly recommended!
