I love my new Samsung Blu Ray player. The only drawback that I have found is that I can't get Amazon Instant Videos. It is easy to use and compact. Great product for the value.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: available apps do not include amazon instant video

Terrible blu ray player

I bought two of these blu ray players and within 6 months I've already had to send both of them in for repair because they wouldn't my play blu rays. I don't play blu rays that often so i was shocked when it quick working. So, when I sent my first one in to get fixed I started using my second and within a week it quit playing blu rays again. Very annoying. Samsung is usually a great brand my home entertainment system is nothing but samsung. But after having these problems with these blu ray players I will be looking for another brand for my blu ray and home entertainment needs.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this particular player because I only needed a blu ray player and did not need the wireless since I don't uses netflix and other apps with the player. I have my TV for that. So I needed a basic player. This was the exact model I wanted. It works well. And it does exactly what I need. You will need an ethernet cord to use the apps on this model so be aware...no blutooth.
Pros: Inexpensive

Can't Download Additional Apps

It comes with Netflix, YouTube & Pandora already on it but there's no way to add any of the additional 131 apps the website lists as compatible with this device. Within seconds of powering it on after I hooked it up I was presented with a firmware update that installed successfully, it seems to me that if I have a network connection that downloaded & installed a firmware update in less than 2 minutes there should be a way to add other apps like Hulu and many others I'd prefer.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, can't download additional apps

We were looking for an affordable Blu-ray player, that didn't take up a lot of space. We found it, a Samsung.....need we say more......LOL!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
