Am glad we got it all my family has used Bissell for years and have never been disappointed. Thank you for your research and feedback this is why you can say it is top of the line. I was ashamed with my dirty rugs but love my pets and now I can say I love them both. I will not use any thing else. Thank you again!!!

Does a ton of work and doesn't weigh a ton. I needed a machine that I could manage to carry up and down stairs yet built substantial to do a good cleaning job. This machine is it!

I'm hoping it's something I'm doing wrong, but can't figure out why I can't get the suction to work on the Pet Carpet Cleaner. It did a great job of cleaning and depositing water/shampoo, but only drew water back out for the first 15 minutes of the job I was doing and that was on the first time I used it. I've been the proud owner of 3 other Bissells, keeping each one on the average of 10 years. I've never had trouble like this. Hoping this doesn't indicate a change in workmanship or quality of manufacturing. Maybe I just got a bad one.

Best Carpet Cleaner I have ever used!

Just purchased the Bissell 17N4V and I am completely satisfied, for two reasons. My cat is 17 years of age and has begun spotting on my carpet. She just cannot seem to make it to the litter box. The other reason, my carpet is nearly twenty years old. I live in an Historic Community and the owners do not like to change things unless absolutely necessary. Being that my carpet is that old, still amazingly good condition, I needed a Carpet Cleaner that I could trust. I have rented carpet cleaners from Pet Stores, had good results, however, picking up the cleaner at the store, carrying the cleaner up 21 steps, is no longer an option, nor do I want it to be. This Carpet Cleaner is the best I have ever used. My carpets were fluffy, for the first time in years, dried in less than 12 hours and was so easy to use. Cleaning is a breeze, and stain removal, so far, has been excellent. Thank you Bissell. Should I need any assistance or have any problems, rest assured I will contact you immediately. Susan62

I love my new deep cleaner. I have done my tile floors and carpet in three rooms. It moves easily and is easy to take apart and clean. I would recommend it to everyone. The only thing I found that is a problem is the bare floor scrubber. It leaves black scuff marks on the floor when it is wet. So I don't use it. I will probably have to replace my brushes sooner but that is ok. Plus it works great on cat hair, doesn't clog up the machine.

Good cleaner but dribbles dirty water. Cleans the carpet nicely but dribbles dirty water. I have to finish up going backwards and park it on a bin lid or on some tile, anywhere that I can wipe up the quarter sized dribbles. If I go forward the machine leaves little puddles. Don't run the machine even a little bit on hard wood without the hard floor attachment. It will scratch your floor. I have a section of tile near my carpet across a few feet of hard wood, a nice place to park the Dribble Machine. It left some nice scratches on the floor.

Have you ever had a moment when you realized that you were living in filth? For me that moment came this past Saturday after I cleaned my carpet for the first time with the Bissell Pet Deep Cleaner. I have 3 "kids", 2 long-haired cats and 1 hound dog. When they've made messes in the past, I was always quick to spot clean, but I had never used a carpet cleaner throughout my home. My carpet is only 3 years old, and it seemed to be aging gracefully. Or so I thought. After making a first pass with the Bissell Pet Deep Cleaner, I was both delighted and disgusted. Delighted because my carpet looked brand new and smelled so fresh! Disgusted because I pulled enough pet hair out of my carpet to assemble a new long-haired cat. I vacuum on a regular basis. But as I was changing the water in the cleaner for the third time, I realized how much a vacuum misses. The Bissell Pet Deep Cleaner was easy to assemble and easy to use. The Pet Stain and Odor Cleaning Formula made my whole house smell so wonderful and my carpet look so new! If you have a pet, or especially if you have multiple pets, I encourage you to give the Pet Deep Cleaner a try.

We used to have a carpet cleaner but it eventually broke. We had used a carpet cleaning service for a while but they eventually went out of business. The tried another company and we were not overly impressed with the results. So we decided to look into doing the carpets ourselves. Someone we know recommended the Bissell brand. There were a couple of very minor issues I encountered in the beginning such as a missing screw for the hose mount when I was putting it together. Fortunately the mount seems pretty secure for the time being but I will need to contact Bissell to get this screw later on. When I went to use it for some reason the brushes did not work. I also discovered I needed to make sure the clean water tank was seated properly (otherwise it will not dispense anything) but I am going to chalk these minor issues up to possible user error. Once I figured these issues out it seemed to work fine. I was impressed by how much more the Bissell picked up even after vacuuming the carpets beforehand. The end result is our carpet looks great and smell good too. I can't wait to try the next room to see the results. Very pleased and great product!!
