Great Cleaner, question design?

I have had many Bissell cleaners in the past. I purchased a new one when my last one died. Easy to put together but after I finished and opened the tank to put water in, the clips that hold the top tank to the bottom where broke. I called Bissell and they sent new clips but this has happened to me twice. I looked on the parts list and I do not see them listed, guess I will call Bissell again tomorrow. Other than this problem, I love the product. I like that the cleaner and water are in the same bladder, on my old unit that is what I did instead of using the solution holder. I have four Shih-tzu and like the way this unit cleans. Only problem is the clips. My cleaner is only 4 months old. I looked on line and no one else complained about this problem. I am wondering if I should order a whole new tank?

My 2nd Bissell cleaner - the first ProHeat2 and this is far far superior. Better cleaning, better design. I hope it continues to work without any glitches. Very happy with this purchase.

I was really excited to try this deep cleaner. Although I have two dogs, I didn't think my carpets were too bad. I was surprised and thrilled when I saw how dirty the water was after my first use! My carpets look so much cleaner and brighter now! I love it! I can't wait to use it again.

Fabulous! Lifts up so much more than my previous Bissel, also a pet one. The hose attachment takes up that much more dirt however the sprayer is a little wider on this one, so some walls got wet.

I received this item and cannot say enough wonderful things about this product! It not only looks great with it's sleek color selection, but was easy to put together and transport. When empty, I carried this up to my apartment on the 3rd floor with one hand to try it out at my friend's apartment. It's so simple to operate! Would highly recommend this for pet owners, but even just apartment dwellers-it cleans up small spaces quickly and efficiently!

I purchased my Bissell DeepClean on 3/18 & received it on 3/21/2013. I used my Bissell for the first time on 3/23 and had no problems. I bought the DeepClean Premier because I have cats and I run a home based business and I don't want my clients thinking when they drop by "Yeeks how many cats do you have"? I had started cleaning my living room and went to turn on my product & the brushes would not turn. I used the trouble-shooting from the manuel to no avail. I called customer service and after it was all said and done they're replacing my Bissell Product. I paid good money and I hope the next one lasts a lot longer.

I couldn't believe the amount of pet hair this machine pulled out of my carpets, or the ease with which stains disappeared. I also used the hand tool on my kitchen and dining room chairs and was shocked at how dirty the water was when I finished.

I love my Bissell but...

I love my Bissell Deep Carpet Premier Pet carpet cleaner. I have 5 dogs and am constantly cleaning my carpets because of accidents. It cleans well and is relatively easy to use. My only problem is the the 2 black tabs on the cover of the brushes. No matter how hard I try I cannot get them to line up properly the first time. And when I do think I have it locked in place it is not and it does not dispense the water at all. And then I have to start all over again from scratch. And sometimes it takes me 15 to 20 minutes to fixed. For having arthritis in my hands I do find it easy to use except for this one problem.
