I truly believe my new cleaner is the best for the money. I have been very impressed with the results of cleaning my carpet and tile floor. The cleaner comes apart to clean so your machine is in tip top condition at all times if you care for it after every use. I just love this machine and would recommend it to everyone looking for a fabulous cleaner.

After two uses I have to say I'm very satisfied with this rug cleaner. It works as advertised, with or without pet 'issues'. In fact my first use was on a very large rug that has never been touched by a pet, and the first thing I noticed was that it sucked up material that the central vac left behind. My second use was on a rug with cat hair, bird down, and some pet stains from both parrots and cats. It cleaned out all but the oldest stains (and even those were greatly diminished), and again sucked up cat hair that our nearly-new vacuum left behind. We're very impressed. There are two (very) minor issues to be aware of, though. The first is that the screws for attaching the handle to the base are taped to the handle and are very difficult to find until you see it written in the directions. (Note: there are multiple sets of directions, and the first set I looked at didn't tell me where to find the screws!) The second issue was quite a surprise, but "no harm done." After finishing with one side of a large room, I was moving the cleaner to the other side. The power cord was in the way, so I lifted the handle in an awkward attempt to lift the cleaner over the cord. (The sort of thing I do with a vacuum all the time.) Unfortunately, this resulted in the water container (from the 'head') being ejected like a fighter pilot from a doomed F-16 jet, half way across the room. Thankfully, it landed in such a way that very little water spilled, and I've learned (the funny way) to lock the handle before lifting the unit. In spite of those two very minor issues, we're very satisfied with this rug cleaner and will recommend it to our friends.

It did such an amazing job on all our section carpets, and I can't stop talking about it to people. The price was really not that much, but the result was unbelievable, and I should have bought this cleaner a long time ago . We bought it to clean the office carpets with, but just wanted to try it out at home at first. Now I'm keeping it here at home, and just letting the company use it when they need it. It stays at my house,. The cleaning products are also worth mentioning as being a terrific products...I'll say go for it and never look back.

I've now gone through 2 tank bladders. They apparently rip easily. By virtue of the part reorder, I'm going to end up paying 1/2 again what I paid for an expensive cleaner. So - not really pleased.

A great new machine !

We have an older 7901 cleaner, so I have something to compare with. The new cleaner beats the old one on most counts, and where it doesn't is personal ;) What is positive, based upon using the accessory tools on the hose, as that's about 90% of our usage ? - The hose is so much more flexible that it is much easier to use :) That is very helpful cleaning upholstery, a key usage for us. - Adding the detergent to the water reservoir is so much easier than messing with a separate dispenser. It also gives fewer chances for leaks and spills. - The water reservoir seems to hold more, my personal negative ... Fewer rest breaks ;) - It seems to be able to extract more water (if you have the patience !). My only real negative is that the tank assembly is bulkier than the older one, and so is a little more difficult to place in the laundry tub to fill ! Rather a minor negative ! I'm sure the dual brushes on the main unit do a good job, but we clean larger areas of carpet much less often than room edges and upholstery.

Great Cleaner

I love this cleaner so far. I've had many Bissell products and they just keep getting better and better. My last one was Bissell Proheat. This new one cleans a lot better. I also forgot to pretreat the stains and they still came out. I also love the tank in a tank so much better than my last one, they have improved it so dirty water doesn't get into the clean blatter. I only do half the room at a time due to some medical problems and I think this one was easier to use than the Proheat even though proheat had self propelled. But just to let you know I had the proheat a lot of years before it died on me recently. Don't hesitate to buy this deep cleaner. Oh and one more thing it's so much easier to clean out, even the floor suction nozzle. Thank you Bissell.

If you can vacuum, then you can use this, The clean water container inside the dirty water container is wonderful. As you use the good water the container gets smaller has the dirty water fills up its container. On other units I have used you get a couple passes and then you have to stop to dump and refill the water. With this unit I can get a whole room down without stopping. After doing the rooms my wife was very impressed with how clean and new the rug looked.
