Easy to use, and does an excellent job

So we have a brand new puppy, 2 kids, and hopefully having 2 more babies on the way so I have to have clean carpets. This machine works so great. And doesn't leave the carpets soggy or wet. You can walk on the carpets immediately after using this machine and they do not feel wet because the suction power is so great. I have cleaned my carpets until the waste water is almost clear. I feel like I can do a better job with this machine than paying someone to come to my home and professionally clean my carpets. It comes apart easily, and is easy to clean and make sure your machine always looks pretty. Even the top piece that gets those carpet balls stuck in it comes all the way off of the machine so your can rinse and clean it just like the tank. And let me tell you the smell it leaves is amazing. I go over my carpets once with the oxy cleaning solution in this machine and the second time with the febreeze solution and my house smells amazing!!!!!! love love love this machine and how great it works.

Disappointed in this cleaning machine

I've had a model identical to this one for two years. I went to use it yesterday and it isn't spraying. Turns out the tank will not sit flush on the base of the unit. I have all of the pieces and everything looks ok but no matter what I do I cannot get the tank to properly connect to the inlet on the base. I called customer service but the girl had no clue how to help me and I hung up in frustration.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First use and carpet looks great. I have always had a Hoover, but Bissell had way better reviews. Right now I am very happy with this product.

I was contemplating having the carpets cleaned by the local carpet cleaners. But instead bought the Bissell DeepCleen Premier Pet machine and did the job myself. It was a great decision my carpets look and feel great! And the best thing is I can clean my carpets anytime I want to now. I highly recommend buying a Bissell!

does it vacuum anything at all?

I feel like I need to purchase a separate carpet vacuum in order to use this. It doesn't suck up the particles on the floor, like bread crumbs, powdery stuffs that are visible on the carpet. It does seem to wet the floor, but I have a hard time believing that it's sucking anything... Also, hairs do get rolled up on the side, but you would have to pick those up, not so convenient. On the bright side, all those hairs don't clog up your vacuum after all. Overall, I'm not so satisfied with the effectiveness it should deliver. Is it a vacuum? or carpet wetting machine? Please shoot me an email if I'm using it incorrectly.

Thanks for the feedback, Eunice. This unit is designed for water extraction on your carpets. We recommending using a vacuum before using this carpet cleaner.

best steam cleaner yet

I have had quite a few living in the country with dogs and cats and family who doesn't take their shoes off. Super easy to learn how to use, love how easy it is to clean the machine when I am done. Attachments are easy, no taking anything apart to use them, love that. Don't seem to have to fill and dump as often as I did with other machines. Only negative and this seems to be with any steam cleaner, wish the electric cord was longer.
