I recently purchased this items after the Hoover carpet cleaner that I had gave out on me. I reviewed both Hoover and Bissell deciding on the Bissell after some thought. I was hesitant on buying this product but I felt I should give it a go since I wasn't too happy with the way the Hoover I had didn't do as good a job cleaning my carpet. I have a new eight month old pup who isn't completely house broken yet and still tends to leave a "present" here and there occasionally. I was surprised with the ease of set up but what amazed me most was how well it cleans. I was simply blown away. I was cleaning up an accident my pup had made and was so giddy with the way it cleaned I had to just use my new "toy" to clean the whole room. But that's not the end of it, the ease of cleaning and maintaining the cleaner just made my day. Everything is simple to breakdown and clean and rinse. If anyone were to ask me what carpet cleaner to buy, hands down I'd say this product. Thus far I have been extremely happy. It doesn't take the place of a professional cleaning but it comes close. I don't expect this carpet cleaner to be perfect or flawless but thus far I've been very impressed.

Great scrubber but...,

The scrubber is wonderful but the only SHORT coming is the cord on it is way to short. If you have a large room you have to keep changing outlets.

I received this Cleaner directly from Bissell (verses a retailer) within 2-3 days & even had a shipping email w/tracking. The package was not damaged at all. I am the original owner of my condo of 10 years & have had several cats & dogs over the years, some of which have had illnesses that caused them to not use the liter box or have "gotten sick" on the carpet. My Husband also brought a puppy home for our Anniversary 2 years ago & it took her FOREVER to respect the house! Even now, but only once in awhile since she has gotten better, if she has to go bad enough, she will not let us know & will go on the carpet. A GOOD carpet cleaner is EVERY pet owners BEST friend! This is the second Bissell Cleaner I have owned & have also had 2 Bissell Vacuums. I have been loyal to Bissell as I feel their Bagless Vacuums & Cleaners work the best & at reasonable prices too! This Cleaner is easy to assemble & use. It holds much more water than the older model I had & is more eco friendly which is important to me because I believe in recycling, Global Warming & keeping our air clean. Especially since I have dust allergies & am now pregnant w/our first Child so we got this cleaner just in time to keep the pet dander, hair & dust at bay, after we vacuum w/our Bissell Vacuum of course...;) I would recommend Bissell in general to everyone but this Cleaner is definitely worth the investment.

I have had several Bissell carpet cleaners, but this one is a total disappointment. There is no rinse feature! Really? Would you wash your hair and not rinse the shampoo out? The only way to rinse with this machine is shampoo, then empty out the unused shampoo/water left in the tank (wasting precious expensive shampoo) then fill with water only and start again. What a waste of time and shampoo! This machine also squirts water and shampoo behind it as you clean which is very messy. The attachments have almost no suction, leaving a wet mess that takes forever to dry. It also leaks solution out of the bottom when you have finished using it. If you buy this have plenty of old towels handy because you will need them to clean up as you go. After using this machine twice I am exhausted and very upset with Bissell.

Thank you for your review with your BISSELL DeepClean Premier. You can do a water only rinse with your machine. After deep cleaning, rinse out the bladder to remove any residue of formula. Then put water only in the tank. Rinse your carpet just like you did when cleaning it. The spray tips are located in the front of the machine; therefore the machine can't spray out the back. Your machine is really powerful and you may be getting extra drops of water/formula from the brush rollers. It will help to take a dry cloth and wipe the underside to reduce this. When using the tools make sure the handle is in the upright position to get suction from the hose. If you pull on the handle while using this may open up the valve and cause the low suction.

I was sick and tired of cleaning up pet accidents from my 2 dogs whenever they got sick on the rugs in my house. Spot cleaning didn't always get up the stains left by occasional dog barf. I also have a huge braided wool rug in my family room that was hard to clean. I picked up this Bissell pet deep cleaner at my local store- hoping to prove to my husband that it was worth the investment- (even though it was very reasonably priced). I first cleaned my braided rug and could not believe the results- the rug cleaned up dog hair that had never come up regularly with my high quality vacuum- it took years off the appearance. Then I went up to my bedroom where my husband always complains that we made the mistake of putting in white rugs when we moved in 12 years ago. And once again I could not believe the difference! Stains that were there for years even came up! The rugs came out so beautiful and smelled great too! OK so the big test- my teenage daughters bedroom where years of make up is ground up into the rug in one corner of her room.. did not come out perfect but almost undetectable- which is more than I could have ever expected. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner. Best investment I've made this year!

I recently purchased this machine and am so pleased with it. Cleans well, easy to use, and easy to clean up. Certainly not too light weight when carrying it up steps, etc. but I wouldn't expect a carpet cleaner to be too light weight. Glad I purchased this machine!
