Good machine but needs additional features

I have owned several Bissell shampooers for several years. Because I have pets, I shampoo my carpets several times a year. I purchased this one in hopes of cleaning my carpets more thoroughly. This machine does a great job in cleaning. Even after vacumming twice before shampooing them, it was amazing how much dirt and pet hair this machine pulled from the carpet. I do have two issues with the design of this machine. First, Bissell eliminated the 2 tank system. One tank was for the water and a 2nd one was for the rug shampoo. With the 2 tank system, if you did not use up all of the shampoo, you could pour it in a separate container to use later. With the current design, if you finish before emptying the tank, you end up wasting rug shampoo. The other issue I have is that this machine does not have a rinse option. My previous Bissell Pro-Heat had a switch to change to rinse. When it was on Rinse, it would not mix the shampoo with the water and you could rinse your carpet using only water. By rinsing the carpet, you remove the shampoo and extra dirt. Plus the carpet seems to stay cleaner longer. The perfect cleaner would have the power of this machine, with the dual tanks and a rinse option. Bissell, are you listening???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only used once to clean my bathroom carpet but seems to do a good job. The red pet hair basket or filter was laying in the box and I have not yet figured out where and how it goes in the machine.

I bought the DeepClean Premier only cause my last Bissell died after 8 years. It made me happy with its deep cleaning of carpets so when it died I went shopping an found this one. I have a 14 week old puppy who is still in the process of house training so we still have accidents. The day I got the Cleaner I cleaner every room in my apartment an I was amazed. I am a compulsive cleaner an it had been 3 months since I had cleaned my carpet. an It got my carpet supper clean I had spot treated. My carpets look clean an smelling fresh. It does what it says. Is a little heavier than my last one but it came with more attachments than my last one, which I like give me a chance to do more deep cleaning on other items than just my carpet. Iit does what it says, deep clean, I cleaned my carpets 2x bk to bk. the first time the water was black the 2nd time the water was light gray. Telling me it got 99% of the dirt out of the carpet the first time around, which speak wonders.

This is the best carpet cleaner that I have owned. I have just one problem which is the hose/attachment holder. It comes off sometimes but it is manageable. Still the best ever. I have 4 dogs. Thanks Bissell

Wow! I am more than pleased with this product. My carpet is 6 years old. Have had it professionly cleaned once a year (we live in a very dusty area). Never has it been this clean. Never before have all stains (puppy) come out; there was always some discoloration left.

We have 3 small dogs and we were concerned this wouldn't work. However it worked great and removed stains without even pre spotting the throw rugs. We are very happy with the product. Very easy to put together and use.

We received our new carpet cleaner today and I had to try it right away--it was great! I vacuumed first to get up the pet hair but after cleaning, I found more hair! I followed suggestions and after the initial cleaning, I went over it again with clean water. I sure was surprised to see that the "clean" water was slightly dirty as well. So now I know that I have a clean carpet! Can't wait to get to the rest of the rooms! I did find a small tear on the nozzle gasket when I took it apart for the first time so am hoping that it won't affect it's great suction ability. The carpet is so much dryer than when professionals had been here so am so happy of the results! It might be nice to see a video on how to clean the machine but overall I really enjoyed using this product.

Have use other brand of rug cleaner for many years, and purchased this one for a second home. I am picky about having clean rugs and just love the feel right after cleaning. This machine (similar to the other brand) does a good job of getting out the dirt, and is easy to use and clean-up afterwards. I recommend thoroughly airing out and drying the cleaner and components after use. I do not have pets and did not buy the cleaner for that reason.
