Disappointed in Performance

This cleaner is very heavy pushing around. I found that when I pushed forward to wet swipe, there was soap foam left on the carpet behind the cleaner. The bladder was bulky and hard to handle lifting up and down onto the cleaner. I felt that the cleaner did a good job cleaning. When I was done and cleaning the machine, I used my sink sprayer for underneath and found cat hair was pouring from everywhere, and there was very little caught in the actual filter where it was supposed to be. I would like to see some adjustments to the cleaner so the cat hair actually gets pulled up to catch in the filter.

Thank you for your review, and we will forward your comments for possible future changes. The deep cleaner is very powerful and will pull up hair deep down in the fibers. Makes sure to thoroughly dry vacuum before deep cleaning; this will help!

No heater

I just finished putting this machine together and haven't actually used it yet, so this may be a bit premature and unfair. I purchased the Proheat 2x Professional Pet 17N4 series cleaner as a replacement for my 20 year old model. I ASSUMED that because "Proheat" was in the model name that it heated the cleaning solution. Now that I have put it together and read the reviews, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that there is no heater in this model, and I feel that the "Proheat" name is VERY MISLEADING. I only hope that the machine adequately cleans without the heating element. Consider changing the name to avoid misrepresentation!!

Thank you for your posting. No worries, your machine has heat technology. Once you put hot tap water in the water tank the machine's exhaust blows onto the water tank to help maintain the temperature of water you put in. Give your deep cleaner a try, I am sure you will be happy.

I used it twice in the same day, and it proceeded to leak out of the bottom! I don't recommend buying this carpet cleaner!

Great cleaner but leaking

I have two dogs and a lot of dirt, etc.. Used this machine and it did a great job cleaning accidents, etc. However, the next time I used it with just the pet cleaning tool attachment, the unit was leaking from the bottom. I had the handle in the upright position. Does this happen often? Also, the pet attachment tool did nothing.

Hand tool difficulties

Works well except when we use the handtool the cleaner sprays down and to the SIDE which can make a mess plus we have dog fur stuck in the head. The instruction manual doesn't say if and how to take the head apart. Other than that the machine cleans well (could use larger tanks). We were amazed with the results. Works much better than are last unit.

Thank you for your review. The hand tools can be cleaned by taking a bowl of tap water and suction the water back into the tank to push dirt/hair through the tool. We hope this helps you out!

Tank Bottom Weld Separated

I purchased this unit a couple years ago to replace a previous cleaner I had from a competitor for many years prior. All-in-all it is a good unit and clearly is getting any dirt out of my carpet. This past weekend I was cleaning the remaining stain from one of my ill children and as I removed the tank to empty it the bottom weld of the tank gave way and all my work spilled over a large area in the room making even more of a mess. Then, of course not having the cleaner functional, this resulted in hours of hand cleaning a large area of soiled carpet. I have liked my machine in the past, but am not pleased with the failure of the weld on the tank. This should not happen.

Hard wood floor

I just used this cleaner for the first time, on my tile floor. It seemed to be ok when I pushed it forward however when I pulled it back it leaked dirty water. I had the hard floor attachment but that didn't seem to help. I haven't tried it on the carpet yet but I really wanted it for my tile. A little disappointed.

I purchased this carpet cleaner January, 2017. Didn't get a chance to use until April.2017. I was so impressed, I love the way it cleans. Also love the way the tool come apart so they can be cleaned. I would definitely recommend this product.
