I just bought the Bissell Deep Clean Premier Pet and it works amazing. My cat decided to urinate in a spare bedroom so I needed something. I previously bought the Bissell little green Proheat Pet which I love to use on spots around my house. I bought the Deep Clean Premier Pet for bigger areas and for times where I don't want to be on my knees cleaning the floor. It cleaned the carpet perfectly and I used the Bissell Deepclean Pro Pet urine Eliminator with scotchgaurd; which made the room smell wonderfully clean. I like that it has a pet hair collector in case vacuuming beforehand doesn't pick up all the cat hair. I can't wait to continue to use this product for years to come. Thanks Bissell for helping me have a clean and nice smelling house!

I had a Bissell canister carpet cleaner for 30 years (it still works!!) but wanted an upright model. I've had excellent experience with my other Bissell, so decided to go with this "middle of the line" model. I spent 4 days cleaning about 1500 sq ft of carpet in my home. This cleaner did a very good job...the suction to pick up the water is fantastic. It took a bit of getting used to the one water container - and the baffle system was, while unique, a bit confusing at first. I do like the baffle system, although would prefer 2 separate containers. The cord is long enough for me to do a large sized room (20' x 22' LR) without having to switch outlets. That is nice (and important to me, as we have a lot of larger open areas). I like the heater to keep the water warm, since warm (hot) water does a much better job of cleaning. Only have 2 minor disappointments: 1) there is nowhere on the machine to store the accessories. I solved that by using a heavy pliable plastic zip bag and store that in between the cord when it's rolled onto the machine); 2) the 8 oz of cleaner that comes with the machine was obviously not nearly enough - not even to do one room. I ended up using 2-48oz bottles plus the sample that came with the machine. While this seemed like a lot, I did do a lot of cleaning. I would like to see a tool that the user can push up into the cleaning heads to get "stuck" dirt out when I'm cleaning the machine for storage. I just fashioned a piece of electrical wire and that works, but would be nice to have an actual tool designed for the job. I am hoping to get as much use of out this machine as I did my old one. (I clean my carpets twice a year, so the machines will get a workout)

I love this carpet cleaner! I have an indoor dog and a teenager, so my carpets were in bad shape. Cleaned my carpets with this machine and they look brand new! I wish I had bought it earlier instead of renting cleaners. Easy to use. Haven't used the upholstery tool yet, but just the carpet cleaner makes this purchase worthwhile. Highly recommend.

With three cats (one is aging and sickly) and a dog, we have our share of messes. We had a Bissell carpet cleaner that is over ten years old and it still works, but it's been having trouble keeping up. Our Bissell Deep Clean Premier was well packed for shipment and fairly easy to assemble. Honestly, we had a harder time locating a screwdriver than putting it together. The cup for measuring the cleaning solution doesn't have a set storage place on the machine (meaning we're going to lose it very soon) but we did put it on that little opening where the clear decorative panel is. Hopefully that works. Our new Bissell carpet cleaner was very easy to use and did a beautiful job of cleaning up all types of messes. The outstanding performance has now made us realize how yucky our carpets actually were. I see a Saturday of carpet cleaning for our full house in my future. The removable brushes and small red filter for dirty water made cleaning this machine much easier (and less yucky) than we expected. We now have some very clean carpets and one disgruntled cat who will keep giving us a reason to use our new Bissell Deep Clean Premier. Thank you Bissell!

We used to have a similar model purchased over 10 years ago. This design is much better; including the "Heat Wave" technology. We like how Bissell has designed this machine to be easier to clean after use with better and easier access to locations to clear out debris. GREAT JOB BISSELL! - Happy Consumer :)

Didnt know what to expect, first time user

I have wanted an upright carpet cleaner for years! My husband finally got me one for Christmas this year. I couldn't wait to use it. I assembled everything easily, vacuumed the room thoroughly, and filled the machine with solution per the instructions. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. I didn't want to be this guy leaving a disappointing review. Maybe my family is just extra hard on carpets but, I saw little to no change in my carpet. The spots and stains are still there! I chose to use the machine on the most high traffic area first, to see how it works. I was hoping for a big difference. The carpet just outside of the kitchen gets the most traffic because everyone mingles in that area and I have two busy active children running to and from the backyard. So that area of the carpet is pretty well trashed. I don't know if it was user error, which I don't see happening since I followed the manual, or if the machine just isn't that powerful. When I drained the water it was evident that it was picking up dirt, just not enough. There are still little spots (and big ones) all over the carpet. I'm going to try it again and see if there is a change. If so, then I will write a new review.
