This shampooer cleans great. My carpets looked amazing after cleaning them with this. I found that you get the best results and carpet dries faster, if you make your first pass which is when you pull the trigger putting the shampoo on the carpet. Then make a pass backwards drawing up the dirty water. Then make one more dry (Not pushing the trigger) pass over the area forward then backwards nice and slow to suck up as much water as possible. When i did this my entire 12×12 living room carpet was completely dry in 3 1/2 hours and the carpet looked brand new again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't often write reviews but I bought this based on other reviews within my price range and WOW. It was hard to find it in-store but I bought the last one and boy was I lucky. This thing is a beast. My sage carpet was so dingy but one shampoo with this machine and it is, bright, refreshed and like new. I didn't even need to read the instructions in detail to figure out how to use it and the filling and emptying couldn't have been simpler. I can't think of any negatives. I LOVE this machine!

It obviously cleans from the looks of the sludge I sucked out of my carpet, so as far as a "good" cleaner I'm content with it. My issues are with the water storage tank(s). 1. This unit uses ONE tank with a bladder within it. You put the fresh water in the bladder and as you use the device the waste water is deposited into the tank around the bladder. Interesting concept, EXCEPT what happens when / if the bladder leaks? Now your depositing waste water back onto the carpet! NOT a good idea! 2.What is the expected longevity of the bladder? Can I easily and economically replace JUST the bladder if necessary? Who knows? 3. When the waste water is full, now your carrying BOTH good AND bad water back to the sink / tub to empty it out! Your carrying the good water twice as much! AND you wind up pouring out some of the clean water when you empty the waste water. 4. Waste/rinse tank has no handles to hold it easier when emptying or filling it. Cumbersome I may return this unit based on the tank design alone.

I purchased this machine because I have two dogs and was tired of renting carpet machines. I found that this machine is very easy to use and only takes a few minutes to clean after you have used it. It get pet spots up without any problem, while cleaning the entire carpet. I feel it does just as good a job as the other cleaners I have rented. If an accident happens I just pull the Bissell deep cleaner out and in just a few passes the spots disappear. I am very happy with its performance. I would recommend this to a friend and feel the price was very reasonable.

Bought this instead of hiring a carpet cleaner for a one time job - so we could take our time and do one room at a time. It worked very well! Easy to follow instructions - though it is very helpful to look at the illustrations and not just read the copy! It cleaned VERY well, and didn't take that long to dry. The hose attachment worked great on the stairs. It didn't leak or make a mess. The only challenging part was the final clean up, but that to be expected - and having a large size utility sink helped. I would certainly recommend this machine. We had another cleaner about 15 years ago and it did not work nearly as well as this one.

This work great, it cleans well. Our carpet was dirty and this cleaned it. We have 3 cats and a lot of cat hair. It got it all. I would recommend this, to anyone that is looking for a good carpet cleaner, especially if you have pets.
