one very irritating problem

I love how clean it leaves my carpet and how great it smells after but is it really supposed to leave so much water behind. I go over the carpet about 5 times and it's still very wet, it annoys me because it the most expensive carpet cleaner I've ever bought and I feel like others did a better job. I wouldn't recommend this.

I have alot of animals so I need this product to clean up their messes. It works great to clean up puppy puddles. Gets all the spots up and makes your carpet look like new again. I wish it had a bigger water tank though. It is easy to fill and easy to clean. This is the second one that I have owned. If this one quites working (because I use it very often) I will buy the same product again. Nothing cleans as well as Bissell.

I used it the day I got it. It cleaned 10 times better than the other Bissell carpet cleaner I have. My husband even liked how well it cleaned the carpet. I like how the tank is one unit. No more carrying 2 tanks back and forth. The dual brushes clean better than the circular brushes the other cleaner has. We have pets and it cleaned their mess spots perfectly. Our carpet looks great now, much better than it has with any of my previous carpet cleaners. The only thing that seemed to be an issue was the cord, its quite a bit shorter than any cleaner I have owed. I would recommend this Cleaner to everyone!

Despite the glowing reviews which were the main factor in persuading me to buy this particular steam cleaner, I am a little disappointed with it. I have a small Bissell cleaner (I don't remember the model but it was under $100 4 or 5 years ago) that I prefer and use to go behind the steam cleaner to pull up the pet stains left behind. I have six cats who throw up grass, fur balls and the occasional meal 3-5 times a week, just to drive me insane. Having said that, apart from those stains, the carpet looks wonderful after cleaning. The steam cleaner does a great job in general. It just doesn't do what I needed it for. It is also murderously heavy and I can only do half a room before I have to take a break.

Hi Lily, Sorry to hear your DeepClean Premier hasn't been a good fit. A better suited machine for your needs may have been the Lift-Off Deep Cleaner. This machine has a portable pod for doing spot cleaning with the ability to connect to the base for whole room deep cleaning. This cleaner came to our door the day before a blizzard and three days after our dog had gotten over a terrible virus. My dining room carpet was completely soiled and awful and we were about to get an estimate for new carpeting, but I had high hopes for the Bissell that I had ordered online. It came within a week of being ordered. I set the whole thing up myself and went to town on the carpet. Within an hour I was done and the results were amazing. We couldnt believe how well the carpet looked! The spots were gone and the carpet looked fresh and clean. After 13 years, it does need to be replaced, but not tomorrow or the next day. This Bissell cleaner is as easy to operate as vaccuuming. I am going to try the upholstery attachment next. We were putting off having guests over because of the carpet, but now we can entertain unashamed :)

I have two dogs and the carpets needed cleaning REALLY bad. This machine worked GREAT. The carpets look good again and feel nice and plush on the toes again as well. The Bissell cleaning solutions are the best. I had spots I tried other cleaners on that did not work. This machine and cleaners cleaned the spots perfectly. Worked great on my tile floors as well with the accessory for hards floors. No hands and knees scrubbing anymore.

Whats wrong?

My carpets smell worse now then before I did them what's wrong? I always use bissell machines they work great. Is it the solution or the machine? It seems to be running fine. I bought this new machine just before xmas and only first used it now. I have been using a very old bissell machine it still works great it was the one that hooked up to your faucet. I re did my kitchen and can no longer hook it up or I would still be using it. I had no smell after I was finished with it. It smelled nice when I was done. I had to spend money on a new machine expecting the same results from a good product and it smells worse now then before I did them. I didn't expect this very disappointed and out of a good hunk of change to boot and my house smells awful. Going to have to do all this work again now buy more solution to see if it gets better. But why should I have to do this twice when my old one I did it once till the next time I needed to. What do I do? Keep re doing this work over and over? The machine seems to run fine a bit heavy to push back and forth compared to what I was used to. The carpet looks brighter but smells horrible now. I am at a loss here what to do next? Can you put other solutions in this machine that are better? Sincerely, disapointed

There could be a couple factors at play, Mare. First this new machine could be pulling up deeper stains than your old faucets hookup, causing their odors to come out as well. A second cleaning with BISSELL formula, such as one of our Febreze formulas should help remove any odors!
If you're using a non BISSELL formula that could be causing an odor as well, depending on what it is.

The product cleans very well

The unit cleans wells but had to pick up many pieces of debris even though I vacuumed thoroughly before shampooing. Did not expect the unit to be as heavy and it was difficult moving about. The used water had to be removed quite often and it was difficult getting it out without losing the clean water. My suggestion to Bissell is that they create a cap that can be put on the clean water portion so that it's not lost when eliminating the dirty.
