This carpet cleaner replaced an older Bissell pet carpet cleaner that finally quit working. Bissell makes good products and I have always used them for they work well and this cleaner is no exception! I liked the extra water capacity and the simplification of eliminating the soap dispenser. This cleaner worked well as expected and left the carpet clean and refreshed and surprisingly even better then the one it replaced. Good job Bissell and I look forward to years of use!

Pet stain gone and carpet 95% dry after only 5 hours

I hire a professional carpet cleaner every year or so for the carpets and upholstered furniture at my rental property, as well as for our personal residence to clean up after our two dogs and cat. I one time had to borrow a friend's carpet cleaner (it happened to be a Bissell) to clean just one room at the rental property for a new tenant. It had only been about 6 months after I had all the carpets professionally cleaned, so I was quite impressed with how much dirt was in the water when using the borrowed Bissell. It's now a year later and we have a newly adopted rescue dog who had her first accident at our personal residence. After unsatisfactorily spot cleaning the accident, I decided it was due time to invest in a carpet cleaner of our own. So I got online and read the reviews before shopping. The Bissell stood out. Considering the reviews and my one time experience with the borrowed Bissell, I chose Bissell. I purchased the DeepClean Premier Pet cleaner earlier this week and used it for the first time today. It removed the pet accident stain, most of the odor (*see odor comment below), and took care of other stains as well. Since it wasn't that long ago the carpets were professionally cleaned, they weren't in that bad of shape, yet the water suctioned up was filthy. And like other user reviews pointed out, I couldn't believe the amount of pet hair that was pulled up. And this was after I went over the carpet with the vacuum. I even looked closely at the clumps of hair to be sure it wasn't also carpet fiber. Without 100% certainty, it seemed there was some, but the vast majority of it was definitely pet hair. It was easy to assemble and easy to clean. Compared to the Bissell I borrowed, it felt a good bit lighter so it was easier to push around. After only 5 hours, with the ceiling fan on full blast, the carpet is almost completely dry, which is fast in my opinion. The professionally cleaned job takes 12 hours or more to dry. My borrowed Bissell experience took too long to dry because I applied way too much water (I didn't have an instruction booklet to tell me how to use it properly). * I put my nose to where the pet accident was and I could ever so slightly smell a little pet odor mixed in with the fragrance of the cleaning solution. I might try the deep reach pet tool. The claim is it cleans stains from the bottom up. Since my pet stain sat improperly treated for several days, it may need a bottom up approach. All in all, the accident stain is gone and the room no longer smells bad. So the job is done satisfactorily. I'm just a detailed oriented bloke and have to put my nose right in it to see how well it got cleaned. I'm 98% happy with the job. Normal people would probably be 100% satisfied with the job if that indicates my level of detail.

I love my clean carpets

I got this because my hoover started leaking real bad. I got this for the name. I have four dachshunds with short hair. Only bad thing about this is I have to pick up big hair balls that the cleaner doesn't take in. That is ok. I love the way my carpets look after I am done. It does a great job! I just wish some of your products for the machine wasn't so high in cost. I like using the deep cleaning for pets the one in the reddish bottle but It's high.

Thanks for your review. Over time the clumps of hair will reduce. The deep cleaner is so much powerful than a dry vaccum, so it does bring up a lot of hair in the carpet fibers we can't see.

Very Effective Cleaner

I got this because I have pets. Let me just say "WOW." I won't repeat all the glowing comments on this machine's capability except to say that they are all true. What has impressed me equally to the cleaning is the engineering. Little things, like carrying handles placed precisely at the balance points, are meticulously thought out. The flexible fill tank is innovative, the scrubbing brushes are belt driven, the waste collection system is unique, and it's very easy to dump, given the previously mentioned well placed handle and a nice rectangular opening at the top of the tank. The machine is most easy to clean, especially where the pet hair collects, and all parts are accessible. Used in conjunction with my SpotBot, pet evidence is history. I cannot imagine a better residential grade carpet steam cleaner.

I used my new DeepClean Premier Pet Deep Cleaner machine today and I love it! This is the 3rd carpet cleaner I've owned and it is by far the best yet! It was so easy and effortless to clean the carpet - and it was a deep cleaning - not a surface clean like in the past. The soap/water tank is so easy to fill and it doesn't splash or leak when attaching back to the cleaner. The rows of brushes get into my short berber carpet like no other cleaner yet. But the best part I have found is cleaning the machine afterwards. The guard on top of the brushes is removable ~ allowing me clean the fur with ease.
