[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this cleaner. I researched a lot and decided to give this one a try. I have 2 cats and a puppy and our carpet smelled of urine even with me cleaning it right away with a spray cleaner. I figured I would buy a cleaner instead of having a professional come. I am glad I did. The carpet is back to a beige and not a dirty brown and the urine smell is gone!! I would buy this again.

Pet Deep Cleaner works wonders on pet stains

My carpet had a stain from my pet when she threw up and it was an oily and colored stain. The combination Bissell cleaner and the solution(spot cleaner) did the trick. This cleaner is very easy to use and does a great job on all carpets, not just the pet stains. My carpeting in front of our sofa has a darker hue from ground in soil over the years of use and the cleaner did a good job removing more of this soil than I could with any other cleaner. This is a great machine for carpet cleaning! Thank you Bissell.

This carpet cleaner does a great job once I figured out how much water to "squirt" on the carpet and how slowly to run the machine while shampooing. We had a smaller, tank-type carpet cleaner, also Bissell, and used it for a couple years. It was ok, but no moving brushes - and this is why I like this model much better. My criticism - I wish the designers had made the manual hose cleaning device removable from the machine. I had no trouble moving it but overall the machine is quite heavy - and I think one of the ways to make it less heavy is to remove the annoying and burdensome hose and nozzle making it another attachment. Don't get me wrong - I really like this model! It did an excellent job and removed grime from where the older model would (or could) not. This one is easier and better for an old guy like me to use. Recommended!!

After Using Bissel Deep Clean Premier Pet Deep Cleaner On A Carpet That Hasn't Been Cleaned Since It Was Put Down New 3yrs. Ago. My Wife & I Have A Dog & Cat. After Vacuming With My Bissel Power Force Helix Which Is Great Also!! After Cleaning The Carpet I Was Amazed How Much Dirt,Hair, Stains Up!! The Machine Was Realy Easy to Use As I'm Disabled. Filling Up With Water & Cleaner Was Super Easy!! Clean-Up Was Breeze!! I Would Requmend To All My FAmily & Friends!!! Also, My Has Allergies!! She Said This Product Help So Much!! My carpet doesn't look dirty yet this cleaner managed to end up full of brown funky water! I was surprised at how much hair it pulled up too. Bonus! Also, I found it wasy to take apart and clean just like my Bissell vacuum.

Good cleaning but usability issues limit product

This is an effective cleaner with some nice features (e.g. beater bars stop when using hand tools and easier clean up then previous model), but a too-short power cord and loss of the separate soap tank means jumping from plug to plug around the house and guessing at how much more solution remains and/or wasting a lot of expensive soap. These design shortcomings weren't present on their older units.This is somewhat of a step back in usability from earlier models. If Bissell fixes these areas then this could be a really good cleaner. For now, I'm returning the one we bought and will keep looking for a better solution.
