I am sorry that you're having this problem with the pictures. Usually that is due to the type of paper being used, or an alignment problem.
It is also important to make sure that the DPI is set to the highest setting for the best results. If you've made adjustments and are still seeing the shading, I would advise you to contact us about this at: hp.com/contactHP

I am so sold on this printer due to TONER QUALITY HIGH YIELD that I am in market for comparable COLOR PRINTER now HP with HIGH YIELD COLOR TONER. Please send me comparable printer in color with SPEC HIGH YIELD TONER.
