This is the best portable speaker ever designed

This is a well designed speaker I started off with one speaker and I was blown away by its awesome sound, but when I paired the second speaker into stereo I was drowned in awesome symphony. I have intentionally thrown and droped the speaker and it is EXTREMELY durable!!!!! I could not recommend this product more. One more awesome feature is the motion sensative playback I wave my hand to play/pause, fwd and bkwd brings new meaning to wireless (without touch). The only issue I had was setting up the stereo but a little bit of practice with the motion sensor and it worked.
Pros: durability, versatile, rugged, intuitive, wireless, touchless
Cons: slightly complicated directions

This summers must have beach accessory!

Amazing sound. Great battery life. Awesome performance. Hands down one of the best purchases I've made all summer. I use it when on the balcony, the porch, or even on the beach. It's splash proof and rugged design make it perfect for any location and it small compact size makes it ideal for any location. It's paired in just a few second and I can change songs without even touching my iPhone using the innivative Smart Control! It's rare you find this kind of sound and more importantly the kick of the base. After I bought mine and showed it off, 3 of my friends had one the very next day. Many other portable speakers fall short with tinny sound and lackluster base, where as the SB7200 rises able the rest! It will most definitely accompany me on all my adventures this summer!
Pros: great sound, rich base, amazing battery life, easy to use, ruggid go-anywhere design
Cons: wish it came in navy! :)

Poor power cord

The speaker worked for the first charge only, then I put it away for a few months got it out today and cannot get the red charge light to stay on, the connector cord is useless. I will try to get another cord, otherwise it goes in the trash can, no more Philips products
Pros: case quality
Cons: poor charging cord not available at parts store

Works good with one speaker, but cannot pair the 2nd one

I bought two of these, so that I can have stereo in my hotel room when I travel, controlling them from my iPhone.
Pairing one unit is easy, but pairing the 2nd one is impossible. I have tried for two days now, and cannot get both to play at once.
Pros: nice and small
Cons: cannot pair 2nd unit
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Practical, but not functional

The speaker is good, and has good sound and volume, when it works. I rarely use it, but today it is turning itself off, even though music was playing and it was plugged in on my desk.
The other frustrating thing about it is if I turn off my music, and it is still plugged in, and I haven't turned off the speaker, it turns itself off after a few minutes. Then, I have to go through the process of turning it on and selecting my language EVERY time! Very sick of that!
Pros: great clear sound, shape of speaker
Cons: keeps turning off, a long process to turn on every time, doesn't fit in a cup holder

Short life span

I originally purchased this speaker to use in the garage and to take to the beach/pool, etc. I have had it about 2 years, but have not put in more 40 hours of time listening to the music on the device. Now, it will connect for 10 seconds, then disconnect and turn itself off. I have tried resetting it, but it did not stop the problem. It's not a problem with the battery because it happens when the battery is fully charged. It is just a poor quality device.
Pros: looks durable
Cons: short life span, gesture controls respond to any motion, expensive for what you get

I wish that I could turn off the notifications. They are often far louder than the actual music. I don't need a loud *bing* when the volume max is reached etc. Otherwise I like everything about this device.

Don't even think about buying a Shoqbox 7200

It is a major headache to pair to an iPad. Once paired, anything - even a breeze- will cause it to skip to the next song or turn off. I threw mine away
