Love love love this piece of exercise equipment! Assembly was pretty straightforward and took me about 2 1/2 hours. After a few days I noticed however a lot of squeaking and upon doing some research, other Avari elliptical owners discussed the need to tighten the bolts on the portion of the machine that's already pre-assembled. (Probably a no-brainer for most, lol.)
Anyhoo, once I did that it's squeak free. Some people suggested having to actually oil some parts but that wasn't necessary for me.There are parts that actually have oil/grease in place, I just needed to make sure those parts were secured. I do agree with other owners in that it does tend to rock back-and-forth on the top/front portion, but that's not a dealbreaker. The ease of use and the portability is just amazing. It's so light I can easily push it to other areas of my apartment thanks to the front end wheels. (And I have arthritis AND multiple sclerosis.) And it's extremely quiet. Elliptical and quiet just never fit in the same category in my opinion because I was used to using them at the gym.
Having the ability to get out of my bed and put on some socks and tennis shoes, while still in
my pajamas, and exercise is what I enjoy. (Don't judge.) And no rushing home after work in attempts to get to the apartment gym facility to claim an elliptical machine.

One of my footpedals was cracked and I contacted the company via email, received a response the same day, and had a replacement by the end of the week I believe, I really wasn't paying attention to timing. But it was a very quick response.
I would recommend this to a friend!
