[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I've used it on the car upholstery and some small stains on cream coloured rugs. Functions very well and lots of dirt came off. The rug stains did not come off first use so will go over them again. The electrical cord is really long which is great. My only concern is that the plastic components may easily break if dropped or knocked against something but only time will tell! Overall I'm very pleased with its function and portability.

Unfortunately she has left a few messes in the house, one was diarrhea which I thought would leave a permanent stain on my carpet. After 2 uses, the stain was gone. I used the Bissell solution with Oxyclean which took everything out. I am so pleased with this carpet cleaner that I had my daughter buy one for her new home.

Purchased to clean floor mats and car upholstery. Works OK. Definitely not as well as you see in the videos. Requires several passes to suck out the water as auction is not very powerful. Does Not heat the water despite the very misleading name.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this product! We bought one a few years ago and have used it faithfully around the house. Our daughter recently moved into her own home and as a gift, we got her one as she has a dog and cat. Ours is perfect and while we use it mainly for pet stains, we find it works perfectly on many other common household spills and spots. My husband works on cars and engines and I use ours once a month to clean up grease or dirt marks on our couch. This machine is so powerful and yet is so compact! I hate big clunky items and this fits great in our closet. I could probably go on about this awesome carpet cleaner but I will tell you it is worth the price! We originally bought ours in a store but when we went to buy a second one we found the price was a bit better on the Bissel website and it even came with a bunch of better attachments (some of which we kept for ourselves as our daughter doesn't have stairs) and a bottle of the cleaning solution too! These things are worth their weight in gold and I highly suggest anyone who is considering it to get one! Even if you just use it here and there it does such a better job than just a spray bottle and a towel (which is what I used before and it would leave water rings and stains were still apparent.) The only issue I have with these awesome cleaners is that they get hot easily, and while I have never had one overheat and break, I would be careful if you plan to use them for over 15-20 minutes at a time (such as if you used it to clean your car or stairs) just remember to take your time and let the machine rest, ours has been working over 3 years now with no problems! When we use it on our carpets, we always place a big book or tile underneath so it has room to vent, but that could just be my overthinking mom brain! I hope whoever gets one enjoys it as much as we do! Thnks Bissel!

I had to return after only using for an hour, the unit stopped sucking up water, got VERY loud and jolted a bit after finally water came blowing out the bottom of the unit leaving a huge mess. The quality just isn't there. I own a Bissell Crosswave and love it, unfortunately Bissell didn't nail this product. I will however be buying the Bissell SpotClean Professional, I've heard nothing but great reviews about that machine.

Ok machine. Purchased this to clean 2 sofas but put one on hold for now after doing the first one and seeing how long it takes. It is possible to clean an entire sofa, but boy oh boy does it take long. Requires multiple passes as well so not quick at all. Ideal for, as the name suggests, cleaning spots. Not ideal for larger surfaces.
