[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this product for spot cleaning on my area rugs but also for my fabric seat cushions and my sofa. The suction power could be better and the spray could be a little more precise. I find that after spraying and vacuuming it up the dirty water container will be 1/4 full vs using up the entire water and solution mix if that makes sense.

I bought this to clean an area rug in my living room, and my car rugs. So far I have just used it for the area rug, which isn't exactly what it is intended for. It would work really well for spot cleaning or for use in the car, but is not really made for large areas. I found my rug is too large and thick, requiring me to have to fill up the tank a lot, and go over sections of the rug. It would probably be much easier to use an upright cleaner for this purpose. That being said, it does work well for the purpose it was intended.

I love this machine, I have 3 dogs and this is my saving grace until I clean the machine. I had another one before this current machine & has the same problem. The dirty water machine never seems to fit properly after I've cleaned the machine. So, it leaks dirty water everywhere and I have to keep it in a pail to collect dirty water. If not for this massive flaw, this machine is the bomb. Spoke to a friend who has one & they have the same problem. Thinking Bissell May want to fix design of dirty water tank.
