I'm extremely impressed with the power of the vacuum. My old one quit on me, so I bought this one. When I got it, the tank was almost filled up after just one room. Gross, right? I didn't ever realize how poorly my old one was performing until I got this bad boy. My carpets look new and the amount of dirt/hair/etc that this vacuum picked up is just incredible. I had NO idea how dirty my carpets were until I used this vacuum. If I could give this more than five starts I would.

Better than expected, better than priced

I am amazed at the quality and performance of the CleanView OnePass vacuum cleaner. First, I was looking for one that had good filtration, and this has both a pre and post filter. In use, it actually smelled GOOD. The motor was very quiet compared to other brands I've had (Hoover, Dirt Devil), in fact, quietest I've heard. But the bottom line, of course, is the pick-up ability. Having vacuumed my carpets before giving the Dirt Devil away, when I went over the same carpets with the Bissell? It filled up the tank. Amazing cleaning power. And for 1/2 the price of other brands or more expensive models. For the price, I'd recommend this model anytime.

Buying a 2nd time - lasted almost 8 years!

I am buying this vacuum for a 2nd time as the first one I bought has lasted almost 8 years. My current one still works but the motor suddenly started making an ear-piercing sound and I suspect it is probably going bad but after working almost 8 years I can't complain. This vacuum has great suction for cleaning up pet hair and has always worked wonderfully on the carpets and couch. The canister and filters are easy to clean and in my opinion, it is easy to disassemble if you need to clean the roller or the hose gets clogged which rarely occurs. I did replace the belt one time but it was easy. My only complaint is that the hose is too short and the vacuum falls over when I use it but it's something I'm willing to deal with given this vacuum has worked so well for me otherwise. I will say it is very important to keep the canister clean which includes removing the piece insides and cleaning that as well (which is easy). As with any type of machine, it requires regular maintenance to work properly and with a vacuum, keeping it clean ensures you continue to have adequate suction.
