My older model Bissell broke after 10 yrs of hard work (including picking up dog hair) & so I looked online for a good upright for plush, thick carpeting. Lo & behold, this model was recommended for quality of working through thick carpet & animal hair. I've used it only 1 week and am very impressed. So easy to push & pull back, picks up dog hair & debris and leaves my carpet looking brand new again (carpet is only 1 yr old). Highly recommend this product....

Great suction

I've owned this vacuum for over a year now and the suction is just as fabulous as it was on the first use. Its lightweight and easy to maneuver. My only complaint is when using the tools the hose doesn't stretch well and the vacuum always falls over....I've lost many household glass items because of this. Also the turbo brush tool hit the floor and fell completely apart on first use and I was not able to repair it. You also need to be careful of the cord as it is on the bottom of the cleaner and the little indentation at the top of the cleaner, which is made to hold the cord, is much to big so the cord does not stay in the holder. Otherwise it is a great vacuum if you are looking for something that takes care of pet hair easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super suction - I have 3 fur babies and this vacuum really picked up all the fur plus the dirt, leaves and twigs that they bring in every time they go out. I find it to be a bit heavy but that's OK as long as it keeps cleaning the way it has so far.

Gets carpet, rugs, and upholstery free of dirt and debris

I've owned my Bissell cleanview since Christmas 2016 it's lasted until Oct 2019. It just went out with a large whine sound and blew out with a puff of smoke. I did purchase a 4 year warranty. I'm trouble shooting that right now after this review. I did regular maintenance. Used it atleast twice a week for 3 years... (52x2)3 I've used it 312 times at the least. Even on the bear floor option with the dial, the crumbs or cat litter are tossed across the floor by the vacuum. It makes a mess while vacuuming on the bear floors. My sister and I were each given this vacuum and we both are NOT able to use it on bear floor with the height adjustment knob with the power foot. My model does not have the brush roll on/off option. We both have pets and are happy with the vacuums ability to suck up the pet hair from our sofa and carpets. The dirt tank is easy to empty. The pre-motor filter and inner cyclone are easy to clean. Removing and cleaning the rotating floor brush of string and hair is very easy. Checking and removing hair balls is easy. It CANNOT help clean out your car. It is not able to suck up the road salt or little pebbles or car crumbs with the hose at all. The hose has a short reach. It doesn't expand nicely to reach without the vacuum trying to tip over.

Good Vacuum Cleaner, somewhat heavy. The Vacuum Cleaner works well and does a good job of cleaning, the only drawback is it is somewhat heavy and it would be nice if it had lights on it.

I recently moved over in with my sister and have been using her vacuum to clean. I don't even understand how this went into production. It's so inefficient, especially on the stairs. I need to keep one hand on the vacuum and another on the attachment just to keep it from falling down the stairs while I clean. The extension hose barely stretches at all and when it does, it knocks the entire vacuum over. It takes multiple attempts to suck up a few dog hairs. It took over 20 minutes just to vacuum the couch and it still didn't get everything. I've never seen a vacuum this useless before. When you pull out the extension hose to vacuum the stairs or a couch, there's a big hole open at the bottom of the vacuum and the dirt and debris just flies out as you attempt to suck it up! Am I using it wrong? I just can't imagine that a vacuum was designed like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
