Doesn't do bare floors well, but I can afford this and a stick broom for less than some of the pricier machines out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this vacuum! We have had quite a few pricey vacuums over the course of our 30 year marriage and boy did we waste our money! This vacuum is by far the best upright we have ever had...and the least expensive! I had just vacuumed our bedroom 3 days before our new Bissel arrived, and when I tried out the new Bissel I had to empty it 3 times while I revacuumed our bedroom! We do have a dog so I was amazed to see how much embedded fur the Bissel was able to remove that I didn't even realize was there! The suction is amazing and it is so light and easy to empty! Best vacuum purchase we ever made!
