[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new bissell for about a month now and I love it! Easy to set up and satisfying to see and the cat hair just disappear. If a vacuum can clean cat hair in one or two passes it's a definite win! Even my teenage daughter Says "it's fun to use!" Who says that? On the downside it's really a workout to push on plush pile. It's not a self driven machine, but for the 300 square feet I'm using it for it's doable. The filters are easy to get to, but I haven't had to change a belt or clean the machine yet. The tank is very easy to empty and reassemble. I don't know what else to say but I love my new bissell and paid a great price for it!

Great Vacuum, Strong Suction .

This is a great vacuum to have on hand especially with a three and a twelve year old. The suction on this vacuum is very strong without damaging the carpet. I took one pass over the carpet and it picks the trash right up (some of my kids toys went in it ). Easy cleanup and the using of the attachment tools. It actually cut my cleaning time in half because how it picks up without me going over it more than once.

Just vacuumed my living room. I removed five pounds of dirt, no joke. It is also so easy to dump the dirt and clean the dirt canister. So, so happy with this vacuum. I tell everyone if you buy a vacuum, buy a Bissell, it's the best!

A Very Well Designed and Manufactured Vacuum Cleaner

This is a very well-performing vacuum cleaner and for the price I would say that it is an exceptional value. Although it appears to be predominantly constructed of plastic parts, whereas in the past it would have been mostly metallic, it looks to be very sturdy and should remain functional for many years. To get rugs and carpets really clean in my opinion a vacuum cleaner needs a rotating brush and to produce a strong vacuum suction which is what this cleaner does. The assembly instructions are very well written and there really isn't too much assembly required. With the exception of one plastic bag of a type that I think cannot be commonly recycled, all of the packing and the carton should be readily recyclable for most people. In other words, for one thing there are no styrofoam blocks. All manufacturers should be required to provide packaging like this to reduce the waste stream.

I have had a Bissell steam carpet cleaner for years so when I needed a new vacuum, I thought of Bissell. The reviews of the 9595 left me wondering because of repeated complaints such as motor overheats, level control doesn't work, etc. I watched the review of this product on YouTube/vacbin and that sold me. I heard only praise and no complaints. I especially paid attention to the test of the 9595 vs a Shark that costs much more money. The Bissell 9595 won! On receiving the cleaner via UPS, I put it to the real test - prove its worth to ME! I am still dumfounded with how much dirt and debris the cleaner removed from a 5' x 7' area rug plus bare floors. Also, I might add, the level control worked perfectly, the motor did not overheat and the machine didn't sling debris out of the back when I was doing the bare floors. This vacuum replaces a machine from a different brand that has seen better days after more than 10 years of use. I have a feeling that 10 years from today I shall still be using the Bissell Model 9595.
