Recently noticed poor suction. Filters cleaned again. Went to turn on vacuum, and nothing. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions. There's goes $100
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its great, even better than I expected after researching this vacuum. Other reviews listed the main con as being heavy but I don't find it to be very heavy at all, though there are more lightweight options out there but you'd be losing power. I have a home with pets (so lots of fur) and this vacuum deals with it brilliantly. We hadn't been able to vacuum in a while after our old one broke so the floor was full of fur/ dirt and this vacuum picked it all up with pretty much just one pass. Super impressed, great value for money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my daughter to replace a older cheaper model that had seen better days. She is loving the vacuum cleaner! Says it is so powerful and the hose suction works great! A bit of effort required for pushing across the rug but that's the suction working. She is very pleased with the power and features! So I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase and would recommend and buy directly from Bissell again!

I like the smooth easy glide compared to my old one. It did pick up dirt my old vacuum missed. As with any product there is a learning process, My first two experiences with the dirt bucket ended up with dirt on the floor, so I find I have to have the bucket directly over the garbage can and high enough it doesn't hit the side in order to empty.

Waste of money after the first year

The first year worked wonderfully now everything comes out of the back and no suction at all from the hose. Have tried everything. Complete waste of money.

Thanks for your review. We can sure help to get your suction back with your machine. First, make sure the filters are clean. Dirty filters will restrict airflow causing loss of suction. The foam filters are hand washable with mild soap. Just make sure they are dry before reinstalling. Please remove the upholstery hose from the machine. To check for any clogs stick a broom stick handle down the hose to push any hair through.
