Great little vacuum

Ok, I waited a full year to write this review. This is an awesome vacuum! It's easily the best one I've owned so far! I got this to replace a 3 year-old bagged vacuum and in a house with then 1 dog who (due to seasonal change) shed constantly. It was not up to the challenge, and honestly even after extensive maintenance, hardly had any suction. I started looking at more expensive pet specific vacuums in the $$$ range. As my search went on the pet hair issue became unbearable. I read some pretty favorable reviews on this model, and decided to take the plunge and buy it. I got it, assembled it (quick), and immediately it performed beyond expectations! The suction was unlike anything I had ever seen and I was emptying a full canister of almost all dog hair every couple of minutes. I went through the whole house that night, and have never looked back. Now, one year on, with two dogs, I have maintained the vacuum. The suction is still awesome. My only complaint is that the suction is so powerful that using the hose attachments required some strength to pull the hose away from the vacuum. This has eased overtime and usage...or maybe I've just gotten stronger.

I received this vacuum as a gift from my daughter (crazy, right?), and I love it! I can't believe that a machine this reasonably priced can work so well! When I first looked at the canister and saw the dirt it had picked up, I was appalled - my carpets were that dirty? I had been vacuuming regularly with my old vacuum. It obviously wasn't doing its job at all. This Bissell is so easy to use, too. I had neck surgery last summer and still have some shoulder pain, so the back and forth of pushing a vacuum could really make my shoulder ache. But, the Bissell is so easy to push. It almost feels as if it is self-propelled. I would recommend this vacuum to everyone! Love it!

Great sweeper for the price. Great suction and quiet.

I like it! So far I am getting used to my first bag free sweeper and it does the job well. On the plus side it has great suction and gets out more dirt and pulls the pile up better than my old Hoover. It is pretty quite compared to last sweeper. I have not tried the optional devices but I think they look well designed. It was pretty easy to put together out of the box. Only took a couple of minutes. On the con side I find that the cord is shorter than my last sweeper and I wish it had a longer cord. The on/off switch is located down on the sweeper body and you can't see it unless you bend over. Finally, it doesn't really go over very high pile carpet, like an area rug on top of a regular rug. It does do ok if you pull it backwards for each swipe. All in all, it's a great sweeper for the money!

I was shocked & a little unnerved at the amount of debris this unit picked up the first time I used it (I thought my carpet was relatively clean) ) & the canister is so easy to empty. Amazing value for the price. I am so pleased with my purchase.

I moved into a new home with tile floors & carpet only in bedrooms so I was needing a multi-purpose vacuum. I had a Bissell but it was over 10 yrs old & I had worn it out. Since I'd had such good luck with it, I decided to look for me another Bissell. I found the clear view to be the one to get. I have not been disappointed in doing so. It cleans my tile floors just wonderful & the carpet is so much cleaner now. The suction power is amazing. I have a border collie house dog & needless to say, I have quiet a bit of hair to pick up. I try to vacuum every other day, and in doing so, I am really putting this vacuum to the test. I am really glad I chose this Bissell over all other brands. The cord is just the right length for me. The "only" thing different I would change would be to make the cord a retractable one. Lol. To dump the dirt from the canister is the easiest I've yet to see. Love it! I would highly recommend this vacuum .
