Worst vacuum ever!

I bought this vacuum a year and a half ago and I've had nothing but trouble. I get half a room done and then I have to empty it because all the hair goes to the funel and then it no longer sucks. I found myself emptying it more than I do getting the job done. I will NOT own another Bissell.

Thank you for your review. With heavy debris it's good to change the dirt container frequently. However, what you described a clog or dirty filters could be restricting airflow. Make sure the pre and post motor filters are clean. They can be hand washed with mild soap. The filters need to be completely dry before reinstalling. The filters should be replaced every 4-6 months for good maintenance with your machine. Check the upholstery hose and hose in the foot for any hair that could be causing the debris to go up into the upper cyclone assembly. With a few simple steps, you can have a good working vacuum again.

I love this vacuum! It has powerful suction and it is indeed one pass technology. The only cons I can find is the power cord is shorter than what I'm used to from a Brissell vacuum, I've owned 4 as of now, first one I've actually invested money into. Secondly the hose is short, the unit will actually fall over if you're not careful. But the other great features make up for where this vacuum fails. So worth it just to have the great suction and one pass technology.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this as a gift for my birthday. I immediately used it. I love it. I sucks up dirt and cat litter very well. I used the Turbobrush on my furniture and it worked extremely well. I have a cat that sheds and this really picks it up well. Very easy to empty as well. My main complaint is that the part that holds the extenders doesn't really work. They immediately fell out of the part. Overall I loved it. Granted I have only used it once. LOL

We have enjoyed this vacuum. It does a great job. I only have one complaint. The gray button on top, that releases the canister from the machine, has cracked. The only way to get a new one is to buy the whole canister. Bummer.
