I am very disappointed with the vacuum. I purchased it as I have one that is 4-5 years old and it is leaking dust all around the vacuum. Tried to buy gaskets for it but was not successful in getting the correct ones so decided to buy a new vacuum. It was a mistake to buy the same one as my new one has the same dust leaks, in the same place, as my old one. I have to dust it off before I put it away. Will not purchase another Bissell.

I bought this vacuum about 6 months ago and it worked great the first time I used it! Picked up so much and my carpets looked brand new. Fast forward 2 months, not working as great, but still doing its job. Now 6 months later, when I vacuum on my wood floors it seriously just throws everything back towards my feet. I live in Chicago, in a studio apartment and I had a ton of salt from this winter coming off my shoes by the door and when I went to vacuum that up, I was seriously shot with the salt rocks coming back at my feet!! I have to re-vacuum what I thought I just vacuumed up! I am doing twice the work, to the point that I had to put the extra piece to pick up stuff off the whole floor. I think this vacuum is not worth the money, works GREAT for the first few times then it stops. My apartment actually feels more dirty AFTER vacuuming!! I do not recommend this product, so unhappy and the fact that this is some what pricey for a vacuum that I needed for a nice clean small apartment!!! I would like to ask all the people that thought it was great at first are now regretting that decision?

I received my vacuum and at the time was staying at my fathers house. We both tried it on his berber carpet and found it was very easy to use. Both of us have lower back problems and are wary of heavy vacuums. It was easy to push across the carpet and maneuver in different directions. I like the ease of emptying the chamber, how it really seems to pick up the finest dog hairs in all types of carpets. I am not crazy about the placement of the on/off switch. I also like that it is lightweight and easy to pick up and move when not running. My father liked it so much he is thinking about buying one for himself. All in all I am very pleased with Bissel Cleanview Vacuum and have already recommended it to others and on facebook! Thank you.

We purchased this vacuum for our Senior Center. We needed something light enough for the seniors to use, but was still able to pick up sewing scraps, food droppings, dirt, etc. They love it. Should have purchased this machine a long time ago.

Living in a retirement community where housekeeping is provided twice monthly, I didn't think I needed a separate vacuum until I used the new Bissell One Pass - it is one great cleaning machine! One hour after my apartment was cleaned I used the new Bissell and the amount of additional dirt picked up was incredible. The clear view container was almost full. The full suction with the One Pass Technology made for a quick and thorough job. I really like how all the attachments are stored on the machine. I am recommending the Bissell machine to our housekeeping staff.

I must have read over 100 reviews before purchasing this vacuum and I am honestly just sad I didn't buy this vacuum sooner. We have a jute, cream color rug and in seconds all of the pilling on the rug was cleaned up without having to use a shaver. We find any excuse to use the vacuum. Even on our shaggy rag we use the hand held attachment and it works like a charm. I would highly recommend this vacuum.
