The price was right and the sale person said it was well worth the money. The hose is to short. The filter and bottom unit will not release now. Have to take a screw driver to help release. I'm not a happy camper with this vac. So please look at some reviews before you buy.

We appreciate your review and we're sorry for your disappointment. If you need a longer hose you can always purchase another extension wand to connect with the one you have. If too much dirt/hair has accumulated this could prevent the tray from pulling out. If new filters are needed, please see this link: http://www.bissell.com/cleanview/parts/?icid=ccrr1206

I use it to vacuum the house, area rugs, etc. The vacuum came in a well packed box. It was easy to put together. It works great, with lots of suction. It was hard to believe all the stuff it picked up. Normally the dirt collected in a bag on my last one. The clear collection piece shows how much dirt was picked up. I'd give it a 5 star, but - the dusting tool keeps falling off it's holder area; the wheels are pretty squeaky. Still, a great machine.

Vacuum is approx. 1-1/2 years old, runs for 15 minutes and shut off,and next day runs for 15 minute shut off etc..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
