Nothing but trouble

I bought this because it had generally good reviews however I ha e had nothing but problems with this vacuum. It doesn't pick up Most things in several passes let alone one pass. I have had for about three months and have already had the bottom off the vacuum several time trying to figure out why it just seems to spread the dirt around on hard floor surfaces. Motor gets quite hot and it makes a suction popping sound every time I turn it off. Not sure if it's a bad one or just a piece of junk in general. Wouldn't recommend.

The vacuum went together quickly and easily, with a place for everything. Once it was ready to go, I ran it across what were, I thought, clean floors and was astonished at how much crud this vacuum picked up. Easy to empty, lightweight but sturdy, and great performance. I bought this vacuum for the brand, the price and the reviews I read about it. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Not up to Bisell standards

I love Bissell products but this vacuum had issues with the beater brush even after I took it apart to clean it. It only lasted 6 months before I started having issues with it. The power switch was in an awkward place on side of vacuum. On a positive note it did have the powerful suction that Bissell products are known for. I did replace with another Bissell product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quit functioning after approximately 5 uses. Motor runs but suction decreased and rotary sweeper no longer works. Not worth attempting to repair vs buying another brand.

Excellent Deep Cleaning

Vacuum pulls dirt from deep down. Carpet has a fresh lift pile to the carpet after vacuuming. Great one pass for this look. A little noisy but not overbearing. Other great features overrides the noise. Love the onboard tools and the extra long cord. One plug covers the average size room. Lightweight which was very important. Excellent machine for the price paid.
