[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it's pretty good so far in cleaning carpets. The biggest complaint I have is that it is too wide to fit on stairs in order to vacuum them. You have to hold the vacuum cleaner on the stairs with one knee while you use the hose and attachment to vacuum. Not comfortable at all - hurts my back. I probably wouldn't buy another one because of this fact.

The belt system it's so weak, fragile. In just 2 months The system is totally broken. I need to send to technical assistance ( only 2 months). This is my 3th Bissel equipment ( 1st a simple bissel vaccun cleaner - working great) ( 2nd Bissel carpet Cleaner - Working great).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This vacuum has great suction. The worst part is the hose, which is stiff, short, and difficult to place and remove on the bottom section.

A very good vacuum for the money, actually purchased two. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. They work excellently as long as you keep the yellow foam filter clean. Not doing so will result in the lost of suction and therefore air flow that cools the electric motor. Some versions of the model 9595 need to be cleaned more often than others.

It really does the job. I have lived in my apartment for about 10 years and just bought this vac. It removed stuff on the floor I didn't know was there. Already a big help with my dust allergies..love the HEPA filter feature.
