Let me start off by saying that I own a Dyson but once I bought this vacuum it blew it completely away. It's so much quieter, it picks up everything...and I mean everything, and it comes with all attachments whereas my Dyson didn't come with all of that. It's so good that I purchased one for my grandfather, oh btw if you need something that's not heavy then you're looking for the perfect vacuum. I'm trying to give the best review for others seeking something good and inexpensive and this is it!!!

I chose it because it was rated one of the top five machines but the price was right and I'm very familiar with the Bissell product! Once you purchase the vacuum directly from the company then it is already registered.

Design Is SOOOO close, but it didn't quite get finished.

This is second CleanView. The first day I found new design for cord holding clip (first one broke in first two weeks) that is useless. Body design may be stylish, but catches on square table legs because the design has sharp angles. After several weeks vacuum began discharging air forward so it would blow dust and papers away from vacuum and did not improve when new filter installed. Foot pedal to release handle lasted slightly longer than first vacuum, but when this one failed it completely disconnected handle from head so you can't lean handle back to go up over edges of a new surface. We never use the hose because it is too hard to use and does pull the vacuum over.We can tolerate these weaknesses/shortcomings, but the real problem is that the height control is a total failure and regardless of position, most of the time the head is so low so that the vacuum is very, very difficult to push.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this vacuum for a year now and it's been great!! No issues what so ever and it's so easy to clean the filters myself and then stick them back in for more use :-) I recommend this one to anyone that needs a simple vacuum.

Best upright vacuum cleaner we have ever purchased

I received the 9595A upright vacuum cleaner in three days from Bissell.com at a great price. I've only used it once, but was amazed. My wife vacuumed our carpets with our Eureka model AS1004 upright just two days before, which didn't pick up much, about half a canister. I vacuumed today using the 9595A for the first time, the same carpets, and removed two and a half canisters of dust, dirt, dog hair, and who knows what else from our carpets. This shocked my wife, and then told me she is getting rid of the Eureka. We had both uprights set on medium carpet settings, and both uprights seem to be the same size, 12 inch, but the 9595A greatly outperformed the Eureka. We've had the Eureka for six months and I always kept the filters clean. Thank you Bissell for engineering such a great product. I am going to be a verbal sales rep for your 9595A upright vacuum cleaner to our friends and family. You made an old man happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
