Great product... I was excited to try this product and when I finalluly did I was amazed on how much it picked up all the dirt that my other vaccum didn't. It has a great suction power I think the cord is long enough....great product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the suction and therefore cleaning power is very good-and the manageable weight of the appliance is a good thing as I am older. I wish the cord was a bit longer-I had another appliance with a very long cord which made it easy to travel all over the room-this one is a bit shorter and therefore more difficult to do , for example, stairs--as my outlets are not placed to help with this. The actual efficiency of the vacuum as a whole is very good-and much better than the fancy name brand which did poorly, that I had previously.

Best vacuum I've ever had...

The Bissell 9595 out-did the performance of other vacuums I've owned on the first use. Not much to complain about, gets everything out of the carpets, even on bare floors it works great. The after-filter housing could be easier to remove and replace, and the turbo-brush needs enough power to keep spinning when you touch it to upholstery or other carpet/fabrics. Even if you just barely touch a surface with the turbo-brush, it stops turning. Something like that needs it's own dedicated power supply, as the suction from the vacuum itself is not enough to keep it spinning, even with the slightest amount of pressure. The overall design is well done and it's easy to clean out and dump the canister. The Bissell 9595 pulled so much out of my carpet and bare floors the first use, that I had to clean out the canister after only a few minutes. No problem, though, as the design allows you to clean out and dump the canister quickly and easily. The height adjustment could be easier to change, also. Any issues I mentioned are not detrimental to the overall performance of the vacuum. It's quiet, enough that it doesn't bother my 2 cats at all...previous vacuums would have them running for cover. The cord is long enough for my 3-bedroom 1500 sq. ft. home. My sister had brought over her other-brand "ball" to vacuum the day before I got the Bissell 9595. The carpets looked clean, but the amount of stuff the Bissell vacuumed up the very next day was amazing. Full canister after only a few minutes. I think she might be buying a Bissell 9595 soon...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this about two weeks and there is a HUGE difference in the appearance of my rugs. The amount of dirt and fur from my two cats that this vacuum picked up with the very first use showed what my old vacuum was missing. My bare floors are so much easier to maintain with this model. The only thing I don't like is that this is a bit louder than my other Bissell vacuum. It also sounds like air is escaping from the bottom filter so I worry something isn't fitting properly. Other than that, the amount of suction it has and the fact my rugs are soft again (and clean), outweighs the noise factor.
