My vacuum is not even a year old yet and it is already making a noise which indicates something is wrong with it. But before that, the filter compartment is always stuck and hard to open. And right after cleaning it, it would get dirty very quickly and not easy to open and clean. It does have good suction, but not as good as the first Bissell I used to own (the cheaper one). I dislike this new filter design. I am hoping to get the older model when I go back to the store this week. And very upset this one didn't even last a year.

I've always been skeptical of upright vacuums and their cleaning abilities. This vacuum completely changed my perspective. As a true believer in my high end water canister vacuum I never believed I could get anything as clean as I do with it until this vacuum came into my life! What a great product and so convenient to use. I love it Bissell, great job!

A Lighter, More Powerful Choice

This was my first CleanView vacuum. I had been purchasing the Powerforce for years, as I clean houses for a living. I was reluctant to try something new but with 10% off and free shipping, i couldn't pass this up! I have been using this vacuum for two months, now. Overall, I am quite delighted with it. It's much lighter and the suction power is amazing! There are a few drawbacks. The attachment hose tends to slip out a lot, when in the upright position, even when I secure it. The reaching/ crevice tools are very short, which means I have to bend a lot more and have trouble reaching high places. The upright position lever is stiff and I worry that the lever may snap, as Bissell vacuums are famous for this flaw! Overall, the pluses outweigh the minuses. When I'm ready to replace this one (roughly, every 4 months), I will have a hard time choosing between the Powerforce and the CleanView.

Bad Investment!

I have had my Bissell vacuum for 1 year now and it has just stopped working completely! As suppose to dirt going in the bagless compartment, it goes back in the air and redirties my carpet. I have checked both filters, hoses, and brushes. All are clean but NADA!!!!! Maybe it was only to last 1 year???????

Constantly Clogged hose

We bought this vacuum because it had one pass technology for 'pets.' Not an accurate statement. The hose clogs EVERY time we use it and I spend more time taking it apart to clear the hose than it takes to vacuum the only carpeted room in our house. Hate this vacuum with a white hot passion.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with the vacuum! If your CleanView continues to clog that's a good indication there's another clog we're missing or the filters have become excessively dirty.
