replaced a 3 year old vac due to excessive noise. I replaced the brush and that helped for a while and then it got loud again so off to shop again. The CleanView was within our budget. My wish would be for a longer and more flexible hose and additional wands.

hard to push

Got this vacuum to replace my Kirby that finally died. This vacuum is very light weight which I like but it is soooo hard to push on my carpet and I have it on the highest setting. Do you have any suggestions before I take it back?

Thanks for your feedback. Your machine shouldn't be hard to push. When changing the height adjustment, make sure the handle is reclined when doing this. If it's not reclined, the setting won't change properly. Hopefully this does the trick!

Worked great.. for the first few months.

When we initially bought this vacuum four months ago, it worked really well. We have a big black lab, and it had no trouble picking up his hair. We also just purchased a new house, and this vacuum certainly put the previous owner's machine to shame. After a quick run through, we had two full canisters of dirt... so to me, it had quickly proven its worth. At that time, for the price, I WOULD have given it five stars. I was sorely disappointed, however, when suddenly the brush stopped spinning. We took apart the vacuum and replaced the slipped belt. Unfortunately, five minutes after starting back up, the brush stopped spinning again. After going through this game of take-it-apart-then-put-it-back-together just to have the machine consistently break, we decided to dig a little deeper. The discovery? The motor mount wasn't firm, so the belt actually pulled on the motor shaft, which led to a new hole burnt in the plastic. Seriously? After four months of (maybe) twice a week vacuuming in an area about 300 square feet, we have a vacuum with a melted motor mount? I wasn't expecting the vacuum to last forever, but this is ridiculous. When I go back to the store to find a replacement, it definitely won't be a Bissell.

Great clean but

I love the way this vacuum gets the constant mess on the floor however this darn belt doesn't stay on. Reading a other review I was worried about a different problem but my husband checked and that seemed fine. We are going to replace the belt but I am hoping it works. I liked how it cleaned.
